I'm currently doing another Pinecone survey, so that will eventually be another £3 towards the council tax.
My mum always puts a scratchcard in my Christmas card and I won £5 on it earlier. So I claimed that, and have just paid the £5 off the council tax.
Did a bit of freebie collecting earlier too. I got a Christmas card from Clintons for my grandma, a small Duplo toy for my nephew and 4 butterfly hair slides for my niece (was only supposed to be one, but I managed to sweet talk the guy into giving me a few more, so I had all the varieties).
Hoping I can gather a few more freebies over the next couple of weeks to help ease the cost of Christmas a bit.

Morning
Work wasn't too busy yesterday. Everyone keeps saying it will get manic, but I don't think it has yet. I'm in 11am-5pm today. I've decided that making extra money has to stop at the weekends. Any extra funds will have to be made during the week.
Can't wait to go Christmas shopping and feel a bit more organised. I know roughly what I'm getting everyone, just need to get out there and buy it.

Good to see you posting so bright and early, Emz:wave:. Not too bright here, come to think of it, very wintry sky and frost on the grass so far this morning:(
Have you managed to get any Davis Cup tickets yet?
I hope work goes well today. Good idea of yours not to do much other money-making at weekends:T0 -

Hi CBC
I didn't manage to get any Davis Cup tickets. The website and phone line were both so busy that I couldn't get through. A lot of people were complaining on Twitter that the ordering process was a right shambles. Think I'll have to leave it this time and try for their next home match, which will hopefully be a bit closer to home.

Afternoon
So fed up with PayPal right now. I've got over £70 waiting to go into my bank account and it's 'pending' subject to 'review'. I could really use that money to last the next couple of days to pay day, but it looks like I won't get it until Wednesday or Thursday . Tesco have also annoyed me, as I tried to get fuel at their pay at the pump machine and it wouldn't accept my debit card - however I managed to put some in on Saturday. I was going to fill the car up knowing that I would have enough money in my account come Wednesday when it gets taken out . Rant over.
OH is dying again with his cough - he knows how I feel apparently. I told him if he still has the same cough in 10 years time, then me might have a slight inkling of how I actually feel!! I've said that he should either stop moaning or get himself down to the doctor, his choice.
Work wasn't too bad yesterday. Definitely not 'manic' yet anyway.
Got our flat inspection a week today, so will need to busy myself getting the place clean and tidy before then. Luckily it coincides with OH's parents visiting a week tomorrow. I'm at home all day tomorrow and Thursday, so will try to get the majority done on those days.

Finally got my OH to go to the doctor today. She said he has probably got a slight chest infection, although I think we were listening to two different people, because he insists she said severe chest infection. Anyway, he has got antibiotics and is going sick for the rest of the week
(yep, still driving me mad!!).
I've resumed Christmas shopping. I got my sister a Kindle for £48 (usually £59, but used a £1 voucher and Tesco are selling them for £49). I've also ordered Just Dance 2015 and an Elsa dress for my niece. I also bought all of my family cards. My niece and sister are all finished (although I might get a couple of bits from M&S for my sister).
I think I said this last year, but I am DEFINITELY saving for Christmas next year!!

I'm on a mission to increase my Amazon balance at the moment. OH wants a pair of gloves for Christmas (they are £89 ), so anything I can get towards them will be a big help. I've managed to get £10 in the past couple of days, so will keep going, but will have to order them by the end of next week at the latest.
Been looking after my niece today who is off school ill. Honestly, it's not good for me to be around all these sick people. No more school run for me until next year now though.

89 quid for a pair of gloves
I thought the lovely blue leather ones I saw in your shop were dear!!!
Hope you dont get the lurgy.
