Lots going on here at the moment. My poor niece is in hospital. She has been suffering from some kind of stomach bug since Wednesday last week and has become really dehydrated as a result. They've put her on IVs and are giving her some fluids. Hopefully that should get her feeling much better.
I've definitely caught OH's cold, but managed to go to work at the weekend. I also dragged myself out for the work's Christmas meal last night. It was good fun and I only spent just over £15.
OH is still dying, even though I personally think he is over it now. He's staying off work today and then says he's going back tomorrow, but we shall see. His parents are visiting tomorrow evening for a couple of nights. We're going out for a meal on Tuesday night.
Still need to get my Christmas shopping finished. I'm going to order OH's gloves on Wednesday. I've just ordered another £5 voucher from Swagbucks, but I'm not sure if that will come through in time or not. I'll try and get another £5 from Opinionworld before Wednesday too.

Evening
Very quick update as I'm tired and have only just finished my meds.
My niece came out of hospital yesterday and actually went back to school today!! She's a little trooper that one, just like her auntie. The fluids did her the world of good and she's practically back to normal now.
OH's parents are here and we went out for a meal. Usual moaning from them (think we could book the Ritz and they would still find something to complain about!!). The meal came to £70 and we went halves (which of course means that they paid £30 and we paid £40 ).

Never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually glad I'm going into work tonight!!! :rotfl: (yep, they're driving me loopy!!).
I'm working on a challenge for the new year at the moment. Will post about it when I've got the figures sorted out.

They have gone - enough said!!
As you can see from my signature, I'm setting myself the goal of clearing 12 debts in 12 months next year. Some of the them are big and some are small, but they all have to go.

I second beanielou. What a challenge:eek:. Just don't go jeopardising your health to get there. We all worry about you if you do too much:kisses3:. Slow and steady and all that.
Just to be nosy:o (sorry), are these all your debts? Will you be absolutely and finally debt-free when these 12 have gone?0 -
Thanks Lou and CBC
- I know you worry about me :A. I promise my health comes first.
Not even close to being debt free CBC if I pay all that off, however, those are the pressing debts at the moment, so it would be great to get those out of the way.
