Thanks everyone.
CBC - I think it's quite common for contact lens wearers, something to do with bacteria. Just guess something got into my eye to cause it.
Dawn - That sounds awful!! Makes me feel grateful I'm only doing it every hour!!
I don't feel like I've had no sleep, just a really rubbish night's sleep. I missed one hour because I must have fallen back asleep again before I got to put the drops in.
Forgot to mention that I received an email on Friday to say I had won a pair of jeans. They are men's jeans, so I've replied with OH's size and hopefully they will come through soon. They're worth £27.
Drop time in 11 minutes

Thanks for the explanation, Emz.
I'm glad you managed some sleep at least:T
Well done on your jeans win:T. Lucky OH.
Does your eye-condition mean you can't go to work? If so, that's a real blow with the overtime you'd hoped to do:(. On the plus side, you can get to watch more of the tennis;)
I hope you'll be feeling more comfortable soon, the whole experience sounds horrendous:beer:0 -

Hi CBC
I can still go to work. I'm going in today for a bit of training (5.30-8pm), they'll just have to excuse me when my phone alarm goes off!!
I'm due to work 12-8 tomorrow, so will see what I can do. My hospital appointment is at 9.15, so I should be out in time.

Sounds good:j0

Soooooo tired. I know there will be many more drops, but I'm sick of putting them in my eye now.
Hospital at 9.15, my friend is coming to take me as OH has gone to work, so he will be here about 8.15. My eye isn't as painful now, so hopefully it means the infection has cleared up. Still feels gritty and waters like mad a lot.
I managed to go to the training at work last night, so that was some extra overtime money. They are fully aware of the problem with my eye (many were horrified at the thought of waking up every hour to put drops in!!), so if I can't make it in today, at least they know I'm not lying!!
Just claimed a £5 Amazon voucher from Mobile Xpression.

Really pleased your eye is less painful today. Good job you aren't driving yourself if you are so tired through broken sleep. Take care xx
I'm sure your work colleagues/managers always believe you when you can't work through illness.
David Ferrer is playing Cilic first up on Court 1. I don't think he's had a single match this year on one of the show courts and ITV4 only broadcast matches on Lenglen and Chatrier:mad:. We just get to see the occasional couple of points or final handshake while there is an end-change elsewhere. Might be his last match at RG this year so I'm not a happy bunny:(. At least if he gets through today and meets Andy we are guaranteed to see that one in its entirety:j0 -
Hope the hospital went ok today Emz, take care xxxxHoping to stick to the challenge this year!!

Hospital went okay. Eye is on the mend, but I've still got to continue with the drops - every 2 hours now. Going back on Thursday.
Managed to survive 8 hours at work - goodness knows how I didn't fall asleep though!! There were many times that I was tempted to say enough is enough and go home.
CBC - Glad Ferrer won today so you can finally watch his match on Wednesday!! May the best man win

Eye still driving me round the bend . Wish is would just stop watering so often
Anyway, doing well with the £10 a day challenge already:
£25 worth of Amazon vouchers
£15 Love2shop vouchers
£12.70 overtime
I'm working extra tomorrow too, so that will rise by another £25.
We went to see Spy this evening for free - good movie, although I didn't find it quite as funny as the woman behind me (loud, annoying laugh).
Also got a voucher from Tesco Orchard for £3 worth of berries or cherries. Will get some strawberries tomorrow
Emz xx
Oh yeah - and Federer got knocked out of the French Open0
