she does nothing in this house at all she even expects pocket money whilst shes working and a 24 hr taxi service. Boy is uni going to be a big shock. she actually rang the old man the other day and asked if he could drop her boots into town the answer was no.

Please do not tell me, you give a 19 year old POCKET MONEY? :(
That needs to stop, especially with her attitude towards you. She should be giving you rent/board or paying towards some bills. You pay for a roof over her head, the food on the table, heating to keep her warm, water to keep her clean...she shouldn't expect anymore for free!!

What does she spend her money on?

You need to clear the air with her, otherwise you will still be supporting her 100% during uni...and getting this rubbish attitude back as a thanks.

Wow. I don't mean to cause offence - but I am starting to see where her attitude is coming from. She seems to have you all worked out..

Stop giving her that. Now. That can be some of her rent/bills at least. She is an adult now.

you should have heard the row when she asked me for the train fare to get to her uni interviews. I said that's what your working for to pay uni costs oh no she said im working for experience id already paid for her rail card taken her to one uni and paid 37 for another train fare. I told her she better save up for uni accommodation deposit which is 400 quid that didn't go down well. she said I haven't that sort of money well neither have i.

When she stopped doing her bit round the house, was there any comeback on her? Do you turn out to taxi her around when she wants?

She won't get to uni if she carries on behaving as she is - have you told her that you won't be allowing her to hang around at home all day if she ends up unemployed?
