Nutri Vitahar scam

I am normally pretty savvy and realise that nothing is free. However I purchased Vitahar on the frree trial offer. My intention was to try it and cancel within the 14 days if it did not meet my expectations. I read the agreement carefully and no where on it did it indicate the cost of the two products should I wish to continue the agreement after the 14 days. The products did arrive but took 11 days to get here. The letter enclosed in with the products confirmed a price £189.98 per month would be debited from my credit card starting in three days time.
I was straight on the phone to cancel (hell Cocaine costs less than that !!!) I got through to Mallick who spent a great deal of time to try to convince me not to cancel but I was adamant. At one stage he offered me a 50% discount (not sure if this would hve applied to the first or all orders). Eventually I got him to cancel it and give me an RMA returns code. He gave me two, and a third one came through by e mail so I put all 3 on the box and returned it immediately. I also informed my bank so they have a record of my request to terminate the agreement with the merchant. I used to work for a bank and unless Visa regs have changed any debits taken by a merchant after an agreement between customer and merchant (not customer and bank) can be recovered by the bank using REASON CODE 41. So make sure you keep a note of your cancellation notification, the date and time you cancelled and who you spoke to, keep a copy of correspondence they send you, and it may be useful to advise your bank but note they CANNOT stop transactions from the merchant but can recover them if the agreement was terminated. So hopefully that is the end of it, I never even opened the bottles, just sent them straight back. Even at 50% discount it is £100 a month in two years that is enough for cosmetic surgery and that has guaranteed results.0 -
On the dispatch note it states you have 30 days to return it from the order date.
So i will be on the phone tomorrow to get my RMA number.
they also charged me extra 2.99 plus two lots of 99p so im gonna try and get this back to!!
Also i replied to the email confirming the order to say i wanted to cancel it and i got i reply saying it had been logged and i was given a ticket number. so this might be worth doing, time will tell i guess.

Hi guys, literally ordered the trials then realised I shouldn't have done that and immediately contacted customer support by email, as phone lines aren't open, trying to get them to not dispatch the products and stop the payments. But i fear they are going to dispatch it anyway and then I'll experience the problems listed above of being charged over £90 when it doesn't arrive in 14 days. Will have to wait 2 days until I can phone them. Although.. I haven't currently got £90 on my debit card, does that mean they can't charge me? Am I saved?0

This company has done its manifestations in various forms and has been scamming and duping customers for years. The independent Advertising network has a ruling against it as well. I can not post a URL link but you can find it using the address provided at end of email chain.
Some of the products where it has duped customers and you will find threads all over the internet regarding the same. I could find more than 30 products. Here is only a short list.
Cytotrim
Slimplex
Super Rose X+
Super Pome X+
Pure Raspberry Ketones & Detox Colon Cleanse DX-10® Duo Pack
Slim New diet pill
Nutrapump
Pro T
Cream CE
Raspberry Ketone slimming pills
Brivon
Vitahar
The company changes the product name and continues to run more scams. They have mail box etc addresses all over UK.
2 of the address are:-
Natural Health Network Ltd
Suite 7, Peel House
30 The Downs, Altrincham
Cheshire WA142PX ENGLAND
And
Customer Care Returns 204 Baker Street Suite 004 London EN1 3JY
But of course it is our fault for being so gullible.
:T I've recently been taken in by the Vitahar Capsules Scam. I've been in touch with my bank to put a stop to any payments going out! Plus I've been in touch with the Citizens Advice Bureau. In order to prevent all the hassle and worry for the future. What I did today was Google in Vitahar and it led me onto Try Vitahar and I went into the site, and the first thing I did, I SCROLLED DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE and found in microscopic writing Terms & Conditions, I clicked onto them straight away and read it through, and it mentioned that we would be liable to pay an extortionate amount of £94.98 each month!!! I tried to close the page, and it wouldn't let me do it as a Confirm Navigation box came up, 'Wait!!! You are passing up any exclusive offer! Then on the next line it said, 'Pay only £4.95 for shipping' Then it said, 'Are you sure you want to leave this page?' There are 2 boxes on that page, inside each box says, LEAVE THIS PAGE or STAY ON PAGE (I had to click on, LEAVE THIS PAGE, to close the add down! I've realised now in hindsight a lot of SCAMS done on the internet, suck you in by PAYING FIRST Please always SCROLL DOWN and CHECK THE TERMS & CONDITIONS before getting caught in their WEB!0 -

ou need to get in touch with your bank right away, you'll need to write a letter giving details of your bank account number, and your sort code. You need to explain and tell your bank manager to put a stop to all these payments to this company. If you are on internet banking it'll give you the name of their bank and their account number (if not you'll need to go to your bank and get the details) which you'll need to include in your letter. You'll need to explain to your bank manager that you've been misled by this scam company. You'll need to get free legal advice and a reference number from them to put into your letter, so that the bank can call them and validate it. If you live in the UK I suggest you contact the Citizens Advice Bureau and telephone 03454-040506 and ask for the Trading Standards Department. Once you've received the package from Vitahar, you have a 14 days cooling off period in the UK. I don't know the laws in your country. If you don't receive the package from them, you must still stop payments going out of your bank account straight away! Good luck0

Hi there, did you receive the refund? Thanks.0

Hi All I have been scammed with this too im furious I cannot afford to lose £190 for nothing ...I have been intouch with my bank and blocked any future payments to iether Nutra or x-proto but sadly thay cannot help me reclaim my money but any future payments are covered so i will get that money Back.
I was given another phone number by the bank to try as the one on the paperwork seems to be constantly on answer phone and annoying music (0808 178 0047). I was also told they apear to be a uk company. This is good it means we are covered by the Consumer contract regulations act 13/6/14
Which states we are covered to a refund if we return said items within 14 days of receiving and we can claim up to 14 days after returning the items ...its a good idea to get proof of posting but no point recording it because if they refuse to sigh it will never get back
this act means they have to refund the postage we paid for them to send it and the cost of the goods
preticked or ticked boxes do not tie us to a contract as they cannot overwrite the regulations and if any of you didnt recieve the items within 30 days of ordering that makes anyagreement null and void
Now i just need to get them to answer the phone.
Aswell as this i have complained about them to watch dog and will be approaching the local Media for assistence .... fingers crossed ...other than that ill get an address and take them to small claims court
Hopefully i will keep my Sanity good luck everyone lets spread the word and stop these con merchants :T
