Can I reject this car?

you actually go through the time and effort to edit that image? Maybe people who know about cars think I'm talking rubbish, but there are a lot of people who agree with my views and think BMW are only a status thing
I didn't edit it just quoted and posted like you have.
We all know who you are, you're not fooling any one.

Nonsense, BMW's are all for show, bling and flash. Its the name/status you are paying for nothing else. There is a reason why they brake down all the time and thats because they are poorly engineered. New models coming out all the time, just so the customers can show off their latest 'bling' mobile and how rich they are.
Toyotas are much more reliable and better engineered. As far as speed is concerned, my 1.6 litre Corolla can easily keep up with BMWs when giving it the beans. In fact I remember a few weeks ago a 2011 3 series tried overtaking me on an A road (it said 335i on the back) and to be honest he barely did. My Toyota was barely behind and he was flooring his. If you want a fast car get a proper sports car like the MX-5 or Ford Fiesta ST. Less than half the price of a BMW and as quick if not quicker, including these "m" cars, ones with 4 silly exhausts at the back, looks like a chavs car
Complete twaddle
A 1.6 corolla keeping up with a 335i, yup ok then :rotfl:Life isn't about the number of breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away. Like choking....0 -

I didn't exactly say that my car was faster did I? I know the 335i is faster (its 10 times the price of mine and uses 10 times the fuel) but its only marginally faster, a negligible benefit. In most real world situations any half decent Japanese 1.6 litre or even a Ford Focus can keep up with the BMW. My car is over 15 years old and it can still just keep up with a much newer BMW. That just shows how well 'engineered' BMWs are, that 335i will probably break down before my Corolla does0 -

I wasn't only accelerating hard, but so was that 335i, I could tell he wanted to overtake and it was making a lot of noise revving. That shows that flat out acceleration between a mine and that BMW, there isn't much difference. Yes he edges forward by a little bit but thats expected for a car thats 10-15 years newer0 -

So you were racing then darkmatter?
You should have allowed the superior vehicle and driver to pass.0 -

You're honestly trying to say that something with a 0-60 time of ~6 seconds was struggling to keep up with something with a 0-60 time of over double that? I also don't think you'd hear any revving from a diesel behind you, especially whilst thrashing your 1.6. Maybe he was in the wrong gear. Maybe he was driving a 316i with a 335i badge on it. Maybe he was only running on 2 cylindars.
There's no way he shouldn't have been faster in a normal 335i (I've been in one, the acceleration is immense).0 -
Hyperxr - please go and get some facts, and get back to us with the 0-60 times of:
Your 1998 Corolla
A production MX-5 of your choosing
A 335i
An M5
We'll have a look at the figures. The MX-5 is a sports car alright, but fast, it has never been. Can you also confirm that you know what rear wheel drive is?0 -
