Hi...
All my Natwst (3) requests for repayments went in May time...and their deadline fell just over the 26th July. I was sent the standard "we are waiting the outcome of the case" letter...but then i got a OFFER letter for one of my accounts. As i had sent all my 3 together i was expecting a offer for all of them, but they only offered the lowest repayment one...
VERY ODD...i did phone and ask can we settle now for the others...but they said no....you will have to wait until the Case has been decided.
Guess i will have to wait:T Casa de ora :T

Hi as Martin has stated that claims are now put on hold how is it that people are still being succesfull. I have just asked for my bank statements from Natwest should i expect that my claim when submitted will be put on hold until next year?
Thanks for your help0 -
Hi,
I want to start by thanking everone that has posted on these forums and given advice, it has helped me a lot while trying to reclaim my money. For what its worth I wanted to give my own little piece of advice, ALWAYS use recorded delivery when replying to Natwest. I received an offer letter at the start of July for £1000 and replied the same day hoping that it would be sorted by the end of the month. With the new test case however, they deemed that I had to reply to a new offer letter which they sent out at the start of August. Again I accepted the offer and sent off the letter. At the end of Aug I rang them to check the status of my claim, they said the cheque would be with me any day. On 1st Sept I rang again and they told me they hadnt received my accptence letter and would need to send another out to me. So now i'm waiting YET AGAIN and its going to take another month once i've sent my 3rd acceptence letter to them.I'm so glad i dont bank with these idiots anymore.
edit: could someone also tell me the number to ring to contact the CEO, me and him need a chat ;-)

Hi All. Any advice appreciated! I received the usual letter back in August saying everything on hold. I emailed Natwest and told them I wanted to put a claim in under financial hardship. They emailed me back and eventually said it was passed to that department, however I have heard nothing since. I am constantly emailing them to ask for an update as this has been around 3 weeks since this email, and have heard nothing. What can I do next to push this along? What does looking into a case under financial hardhsip entail?0

Thanks0 -
Hello,
Sent a letter of wanting back the charges I paid, but got a reply from Natwest Bank saying that as they are dealing with charges in a court to settle something they are unable to solve my matter until they have finished.
Will post what they exactly said as soon as I find the letter.
So, are they right? Or have they just fed me some BS?0 -
