Any idea on how long Natwest take to consider a claim under a hardship case? I have emailed them but they are not updating me or giving me a timescale? Thanks.0

Can anyone advise me please regarding the bank charges am I entitled to claim for from Natwest. They have charged me for having an overdraft Facility (£5,000). These "CHARGES" range over the past five years from £9 to current day £12 per month and also can i reclaim for "INTREREST CHARGES" that I have to pay when I go into the overdraft not over it. Not being a great one for money matters I'm unsure what to do....0

Read the Reclaim Bank Charges Help Thread for what you can and can't claim but I can tell you now that overdraft interest is not reclaimable.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

Hi, still nothing in bank. Received a letter yesterday (29th) dated 23rd telling us the transfer had been made and £2933 has been paid into the account - i rang up to inform them that no money had reached the account and was told that it will take 5-7 days from the date of that letter - excluding bank holiday monday today is day 5 - looks like they're in it for the long haul - the charges seem to be taken 'on the day' why can't they refund them in the same manner - I really am getting rather annoyed now.0

have called plenty of times they can confirm they have received my confirmation but say they legally have up to 21 working days to refund money.my second offer letter is dated 3rd august they received it back on the 9th august.first they said it takes 7-10working days then10-14 working days now upto 21 working days.already had to cancell well deserved and overdue holiday because the money didnt arrive which upset the kids at this rate i will have to cancel christmas!!!0
-
yes we're the same - we were kind of counting on the money to pay for a well deserved holiday - if we'd have known we weren't going to get our money back by when we were told we would have it, we'd have made other arrangements to pay for it.0

i have been told it could go in anytime between now and the 7th september to ring them back if it isnt in by then.0
