Yay!! I bought myself 2 new bras for £6 the other day, but it did come out of my Christmas money... and they don't blooming fit. A bit of a *that's it, fat club* moment if ever there was one. Been that size for... ever! And now it is too small around the back. Rubbish! Have never had a bra pop a wire out on me, but I did see one of those funny cards which said, "the awful moment when your favourite bra tries to stab you in the heart" and it made me chuckle.
Yay to next Monday clubbercise. Something to aim forxx

Men can be very selfish when it comes to getting things for themselves. Mr SA is just the same - he sulks. I can understand you feel strange, you must wonder what's going to happen next. Make sure you take care of yourself. Well done on the lotto win, I've not won a thing since they doubled the price. And good luck with the boiler, according to British Gas ours is 25 years old - it isn't we've haven't been in the house that long and we had a new one put in about 16 years ago, still old though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Hello Lucky and friends.... taking it from the top......
There is a wonderful book which is still in print and which has helped my mother, me and two sisters with panic and anxiety throughout our lives. It is called 'Self help for your nerves' and is one of the original and best booksfor panic. The lady who wrote it won the nobel prize for her contributions to psychology and she herself suffered from panic and nervousness. I can't begin to tell you how helpful it has been to me and how kind and compassionate and practical she is in her written style.
It might also help your DH when he suffers his waves of fear.
Satchmo1There is no way sneaking off to a prayer meeting could possibly negate your prayers. JC Himself snuck away from the crowds from time to time to be on His own and take a break from His obligations. We all need time to ourselves and our loved ones will feel all the better for having us back refreshed afterwards.
It's taken me years to start learning about setting boundaries for other people to respect (and two nervous breakdowns!) but I am getting there and feel more self respect as a result.
Finally, you are all of you totally awesome!! It never ceases to amaze and delight me coming and visiting you all on various threads, thank you! With family, friends and pets (or any combination of them) life will be fine!

So, 1.5lbs off at fat club :j. See what happens when you don't use a birthday as an excuse for a blow out! Feeling proud of myself!
S@nt@nder c/c took £100 direct debit today despite agreeing to reduce it to £50! Thankfully I hadn't taken them at their word and was making sure only £50 went out before paying the other £50 to Bcard (to help clear that before the 0% runs out). Why are my direct debits so screwed up this month?! Might call them tomorrow to complain, as I could have really been in trouble if I'd already moved the other £50.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I echo what everyone says about feeling anxious with all that you deal with.... Finding strategies is the best way of copying Hopefuljoy's book sounds a good place to start. As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or
What does the saying say.... When life hands you lemons, make lemonade
Or as my Mum would say, brush yourself down, tomorrow is another day or

plmbl I don't know how you cope with everything happening in your life and still keep composed. I have just had the chance to read back through some of your posts. It is no wonder you are having feelings of panic etc. You are such a kind, caring person it seems very unfair that life has dealt all these blows on you.
I think I might see if I can get a copy of the book hopefuljoy has recommended. I will see if it is still in print.
Men! At least you know you are not on your own with men wanting to spend money they don't have on things that are just 'stuff' or in my case visits to pubNot me but Mr P.
