  • Evening!

Party was a huge success and DS2 loved it. He enjoyed opening his presents even more (even though it's not his birthday until Monday I couldn't make the poor little guy wait! Plus, he is at school Monday so there wouldn't really be time, it took an hour to open everything and even longer to open boxes etc. He still has loads of stuff like Lego to build, so it will fill our weekend!). He will have family presents on Monday anyway. Everyone has been so generous, and amazingly he got no duplicate presents or something he had already :T. Lucky boy!

DH has continued to be 'not quite right', but nowhere near at his worst either so I'm thankful for that.

October, I'm sorry I didn't reply to you this morning. Grandma is doing better and even made it to Auntie's party last night which I was surprised by. Lovely to see her out and about though, the new tablets are kicking in.

I'm absolutely exhausted! Thank goodness I wasn't at work tonight too!!

You know Lucky every time I feel a bit down and poor me, I read your diary and realise that I have nothing to really complain about. Alot of my problems come from being lazy, and from not putting my foot down with other members of the family (OH included) to get them to help with stuff.

So thanks for that. Glad to hear that grandma is on the mend. And fingers crossed the new medication is 'ok'

So pleased to hear yesterday went well and that your grandma is on the mend :) Your DS is a very lucky boy not just because of all those presents but the fact that he has such a fab mum :) Hope today is good too.

  • Hi lucky

Great to hear that DS2 had a wonderful birthday, Children are so lucky, my dd's birthday was over a weekend and it seemed to last 2-3 days of party and present opening. sometimes I wish I was 8 again :T.

Hope Dh perks up and I also hope you have had a relaxing Sunday, with time to put your feet up.

    xxx
