Waves of fear again tonight .

Beanie, meant to reply to your post yesterday. When the paramedics were here, DH went from seizuring and weird breathing, to what appeared to be more of a deep sleep. He loses the use of the left hand side of his body post seizure, and during the half hour they were here he voluntarily lifted his left arm and rubbed his head, so he had obviously regained the use of it. One paramedic tried repeatedly to make him open his eyes but he wouldn't, though eventually he grunted at her and opened one a tiny crack. There was a definite air of calm about him and he really looked more to be asleep than 'passed out'. We discussed the fact that taking him to hospital would mean having to ring MiL to come stay at my house with the boys, or having to wake them to come with us, and we all agreed that it would be best overall to leave DH where he was. After they left though, it scared me a little that they hadn't actually got him to wake up and talk to them. Xx

Those pesky toilet rolls Lucky! They get me every time just when I think I've bought everything!

So pleased that DH has not had another seizure and pray that you'll have a period of stability for a good long time.

The wind in west sussex is fierce tonight which means my lovely teenage classes will be wild tomorrow! Don't know why the weather effects youngsters but ask any teacher and they'll tell you the same. Wild wind, wild children.

Hopefuljoy is right about the effect of high wind on kids; it makes horses, cats and [usually to a lesser extent] dogs skittish too, and grown-ups become more argumentative (when the Mistral blows, the local murder rate rockets!).

..Could pupils run a circuit or two of the playing fields before starting brain-work, Hopefuljoy?
