Those dates are definitely cancelled and naps all round! I hope you get some peace an quiet for a bit and DH is ok after his bad night too. I know you often mention he is worse after a seizure.

DH is ok this morning, just a banging headache and no knowledge of what went on through the night. I was pleased the paramedics left paperwork and other discarded paraphernalia so I could prove what had happened. Think the headache was the best proof though.

Grandma is very wishy washy. She has picked up a bowel infection while she was in hospital and is wiped out by that. She is starting some new medication today so fingers crossed that perks her up.

Lucky poor Grandma. Another reason I hate hospitals, bugs are rife right when you are at your most vulnerable. Superbugs too... Hope she kicks it soon!!

Glad DH has seen some proof of his episode overnight. I know it must be upsetting for him but why he has to challenge you on these things is beyond me. You're the one who spent that time awake, fighting to keep him safe and bring him out of it, suffering the stress and lack of sleep. Why would you make it up?!?!

I don't think he doesn't believe me Lilt, it's just hard for him to get his head around. As far as he is concerned, he went to bed, slept all night and then woke up this morning. He genuinely has no recollection of anything else, and because he was unresponsive to the paramedics there is no reason he'd remember them. There have been occasions previously where he genuinely didn't believe me, but I think he now just accepts what I tell him is true (though having evidence doesn't hurt!!).

I dozed for about 15 minutes on the sofa before whilst DH was watching a film. Feel better for it.

And sorry, I was just remembering the incident where he was down the side of the bed and quite mean when you told him in the morning.

I never remembered any of my fits as a kid, but my mum slept with one eye open and dad had cctv installed in my bedroom for years until I outgrew it. Not fun for the non-sufferers left to mop it up! Did the paramedics not wake the boys by the way?!?
