Re bra sag, my mum reckons you should never wash bras or tights in the washing machine. I CBA with the faff whilst baulking at the cost of both, but convenience wins over cost. I do use washing nets and lowest temperature for them though.

Hope DS has perked up, and sleeps all night for you x
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
  • Jelly is precisely the same Lucky and honestly it scares me when she lies still on the sofa. That is when you really know she is poorly. Hope DS feels a bit better.

Boo to losing NSD but hey, peace and relative quiet ;) hope you do not come down with DS2s bug. I am heading downhill fast just in time for the weekend of course.. Sigh.

And in my dreams you are perfect just as you are. But next time I will make sure you look like Heidi Klum & Co if it shall please you ;) not that I plan on dreaming of you, but... you know :D lol xx

I hope DS2 is feeling better soon and that you manage to get some much needed sleep tonight.

I had an email inviting me to join a sewing course to design and make a bra to fit properly. The only problem for me was the cost of the course :(

  • Morning all.

Well, an eventful 12 hours! DS2 woke from a nap completely confused and disorientated, grabbing at things in the air that weren't really there and acting really odd (it was quite scary!). Rang 111 who made us an appointment with an out of hours GP who in turn sent us to A@E. They were all concerned because he had a temperature but no major outward signs as to why - ears, throat, chest all clear. They were concerned with his lack of drinking and when he tried to drink for them he vomitted. They were talking of keeping him in but all 4 of us were there, and they realised that our 'social situation' would make things difficult. Even though it was almost midnight, MiL was waiting in the wings to drive to the hospital and collect DH and DS1, and I was concerned about DH not having had his tablets yet and what their sleeping arrangements would be. Anyway, DS2 eventually managed a wee which tested clear so they allowed us all to go home if I promised we went back if anything changed. Got home at 1am assuming we'd all have a lie in but DS2 has had me up since 7am :(. He seems a bit brighter though and has had a drink voluntarily (still wont eat). DH and DS1 are still flat out.

Oh Lucky. It's never ending for you! Glad to hear he's picking up a bit. There are some funny bugs going round at the minute (Mr SA's carer one example). Hope the rest of the weekend runs smoothly and you get some rest. Sending you a virtual hug x

  • Wow, how scary! I hope DS2 is ok and that you get some rest soon. You're getting burnt out again. If you have a chance for a nap, take it.

    October xx
  • Thank you all. Could feel myself getting panicky and anxious again so when DH got up at 8.45am and DS2 fell asleep on the sofa, I took myself off to bed again for an hour.

DS2 still has a slightly raised temperature but it has come down from last night. He got up to get himself some juice from the table before so that is an improvement as yesterday he just wouldn't move. One of the Mums from school has suggested it might be slapped cheek syndrome so will be looking out for that.
