PLMBL I think I have the lergy this afternoon. My nose has decided to be very moist.
On the upside, if I was a dog I would be in fabulous health :STrying to shift that debt!0 -

I just nearly wet myself laughing at this Skint but Optimistic!!! :rotfl: thank you so much for the mental pictures, both before and after dogs were mentioned!
Lovely Lucky I hope you are feeling better today!!Big hugs for you! How is DS2? Back to his usual adorable cheeky self?
How are you doing on your diet this week? My dinner had chickpeas in it so I am feeling rather :A... Not so much about the snickers earlier, or the fact I am highly debating rice pudding with nutella in it. That stuff should be banned....
xx

Lol, you lot make me laugh, thank you.
Still feel rotten, though have managed to get to paracetamol time again without counting down the minutes. 240 minutes is a long time to count down!!!
So DS2 got up and got ready for school - and then screamed when I tried to brush his teeth. Close inspection showed little white lumps inside his mouth
:(. So despite feeling horrific myself, off we went to the GP for him because A&E had said to get any new symptoms checked out. Dr thinks it's just the virus coming out in him.
DD2 has then jumped around like an eejit all day, and has eaten more today than he has every day since Thurs put together. This in itself is good news. Not so much for my day of rest and recovery!!
DS1 then came in upset because he's had a run in with some other boys on the school bus! It never rains but it pours!
Can't sign off without mentioning the passing of a wonderful MSE friend. R.I.P Kissjen, a truly lovely lady XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Well done on the NSD.
Sorry you're still feeling pants. Hope you get a good nights rest
Poor DS1... that kind of thing really hits me hard. It is probably my worst fear for Jelly, that I may have to one day deal with bullies for her. I shall never tell where their bodies are hidden.
(reading that back it seems I should be more fearful for the bullies!! :rotfl:)
Big hugs, very sorry to hear of kissjens passing. From what I read of her bad bad booby diary (it came a bit close to home so I never posted) she was a fantastic lady. xx

Afternoon all!
Lilt, KJ really was a superstar, but I totally understand how her plight was too close to home for you. Big hugs. On the other topic, DS1 has had no problems at school today :j.
October, thank you for the lovely quote, it's perfect. It reminds me of another one I like; Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.
Mrs H, I feel better today thank you. From reading your diary I know you have had it too, so I hope you feel better soon also. I've definitely been more functioning today, not 100% but not zombie like either!
Welcome ploppy! What a fab name, love it! Don't think I'm much of an inspiration, just someone who refuses to give up lol. Life can be challenging with DH's head injury conditions and 2 active young boys, but I love them dearly and I try to focus on the good things (doesn't always happen!). Stick around, meet the gang.
So DS2 went back to school (under duress) this morning. We had the people from the head injury rehab hospital back out again today, and the lady stayed in the lounge doing tests with DH and the gentleman took me into our dining room to ask me questions about DH's behaviour! He was asking things like 'does he ever get angry and fly off the handle', 'does he act on impulse and embarrass you in public' etc etc. As you can imagine, I said a lot of 'yes'! DH scored highly in his test with the lady - 85/100. He failed on all the memory ones and passed everything like maths etc apparently. I could have predicted that no problem! That said, DH was having a good day today and I dread to think what the score would be on a bad day!!
Anyway, upshot is they have made a referral to social services for a carers assessment (which I know about through SA, but DH has never had before). They have also sent a referral to a charity they work with, but as their funding has run out for this tax year we won't hear from them until April. Apparently they offer 1:1 work where they will match DH with someone (carer) into fitness about his age, and provide activities for them to do. This will have a double bonus of extending DH's social circle and stopping him from relying so much on me, and also giving me a break.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
