  • Oh goodness I forgot the weight loss!! Astounding and so well deserved!! Well done you :D xx

  • Thank you! I did try really hard this week, but to be fair I also didn't eat very much over the weekend when I felt rotten. Hopefully it won't all go on again this week just because I've eaten a more normal amount!! To give myself credit though, normal me would have binged on chocolate etc when stressed over the recent hospital drama etc, and I really restrained myself this time. Nothing changed if nothing changes!

    23 sons! Wonderful!! :rotfl:.

DH has had a few angry outbursts over the last week Lilt, but to be honest probably no more than normal. Hopefully no side effects, though we are at the very bottom end of the dosage still. 6 more days until the next increment and 6 weeks until we reach the desired (for now!) dose. He is very much missing the gym though!

Yesterday's meeting sounds very positive. It will do you both good to have a break from each other and give you a break too. It doesn't matter how much you love someone you still need a break from one another.

I hope you are feeling better today. And that DS1 os feeling better too.

I had a very odd way to deal with bullies when my for were in primary school
I invited them round to play and to have tea. And it worked. Even did out when DS3 was in year seven. But that time I took them to burgerking bought then both meal, sat then on a separate table to me. And told them to talk. The horrible little boy who had been bullying my son still keeps in touch. And he was horrible and admits it.

I agree this is a great approach, I was bullied badly at school, in later years I understood, it was because the bullies were really unhappy themselves and giving them a hand of friendship can be a better way forward x

  • Thank you BM, Granny, February Starter :p and ploppy.

DS2 has a high temperature - AGAIN!! When will this ever end?! He is in bed asleep now but I'm worried about him. Poor little guy.

Dentist this afternoon, my teeth are fine (:j), DS1 needs a filling () and we agreed to reschedule DS2 with him being poorly. DH sees a different dentist at the same practice and he had his appointment last week. The dentist surgery is next door to a bakers and the boys requested sausage rolls for tea, I've just realised that if I'd said no then today would have been a NSD! Anyway, soft as clarts Mummy said yes so a small spend there. DH and I had bolognaise pasta bake for tea.

In other news, we have been put forward for a new boiler and cavity wall insulation after last week's assessment. Two technical surveys are now booked and hopefully we might have a new boiler within the next 3 weeks :T. I have also reapplied for DH's CEA card which expired yesterday, so I can continue to go to the cinema with him as his carer.
