I agree with what you say about focusing on the good things. I am a great believer in positive thought and living in the "now" and for every negative thought you should always find a positive one to replace it. That is what keeps me going, the thought of all the good things that we already have and the ones that will come as a result of sorting out our DMP

Yesterday's meeting sounds very positive. It will do you both good to have a break from each other and give you a break too. It doesn't matter how much you love someone you still need a break from one another.

I hope you are feeling better today. And that DS1 os feeling better too.

I had a very odd way to deal with bullies when my for were in primary school
I invited them round to play and to have tea. And it worked. Even did out when DS3 was in year seven. But that time I took them to burgerking bought then both meal, sat then on a separate table to me. And told them to talk. The horrible little boy who had been bullying my son still keeps in touch. And he was horrible and admits it.

  • Morning (just!). Thanks for all the positivity, you lot are fab. Not feeling very positive myself today but I'm trying.

DS2 is poorly and off school again :(. Full of snot and coughing, and generally run down after his awful week bless him.

Lost 5lbs at chub club last night, got slimmer of the week and slimmer of the month. 10.5lbs lost in 3 weeks, 2 stone 10lbs lost in total.

Pooh that sounds like a great idea re bullies. Hopefully all will be ok today, but I'm picking him up from school anyway as the boys and I have the dentist at 4.15pm and the bus doesn't get him home until 4, which makes it tight timing. If I pick him up we should be back by 3.45, quick brush of teeth and off again!

SBO, we are on amber warning for the snow here and it sleeted earlier but nothing more sinister yet. Hope it stays that way!! Sounds like you are well prepared if not though!!

  • Hi Lucky

Great news about being able to get some help with activities for Dh to do. If you could get someone else like Paramedic mate then that would be fab. did I read that you have to wait until April though?? that's rubbish if you do :(

Glad Ds is feeling better and had a better day in school.
Good Idea for dealing with bullies Poohbear, I might try that one myself.

Hope you don't have too much bad weather atm, Its very windy here in Dorset. Skint warned me to get some UHT milk, but we don't usually have it too bad down here. She has made me think that maybe I ought to check the weather just in case we do get caught out.

    Take care xxxx

    Loving the bullies idea PoohBear.

My mum once phone the mum of a girl who had beaten me up in front of her friends right opposite my house when I was on roller skates. The girl and her dad were on the doorstep half an hour later. She was sobbing and had obviously had a serious telling off/dealing with. She apologised and was nice ever after. She just wanted to be cool. Nowadays she is a good mate!

Poor DS23 ETA  Twenty three sons... *faints*. You know what I mean. ;)

Hope he feels better Lucky. Is DH climbing the walls at lack of gym? Any side effects evident yet?

    Hugs! xx
