I think ive done a stupid thing!

Last night I was cooking lots of things and I think I may have cut a corner that today im going to regret.

I made a no-bake cheesecake in a springform tin and though its non stick I didnt grease or line the sides. My thought now is how the hell am I going to get it out, without it all breaking up on me?!

Anyone got any tricks that might help?

It should come out :) Slice a long thin knife between the tin and the cake to free it. Then open the spring and slide the cake onto a plate :T

I've pretty much given up greasing cake tins for cakes, etc. I've never done it for cheesecake and it always comes out.

Everything crossed for you, too :D

Chill it down really well to firm it before you try to remove it, but I think it'll be ok too :)

I'd do this, then wrap a very hot towel, around the outside, having release with a HOT knife as in post one.

Good luck! I think you'll be ok with it.

A knife round the edge will do the trick :) If you happen to have a kitchen blowtorch, a quick blast round the tin will also loosen the cheesecake.

Does anyone have a recipe for a baked cheesecake.

I've had a google and there are lots of recipes, but I would like to use one that has been tried and tested by an O'Ser.

Gordon Ramsay one; works every time and tastes divine. Everyone who tastes it loves it. Make it the day before if you can and let the flavours infuse. Scrumdiddlyumptious!
