I visited a cafe yesterday where they served this cheesecake and it was divine. I have tried google for a recipe but nothing seemed to be like the one I was served. If anybody has a recipe it would be appreciated.

This is the recipe that I use:
BASE
4 oz crushed hobnobs
2 oz melted butter
1 oz demerara sugar
CHEESECAKE
1 packet lemon jelly
juice of 1 lemon
12 oz mascarpone
4 oz castor sugar
5 fl oz whipping cream
TOPPING
5 fl oz whipping cream
pared rind of 1 lemon
Lightly oil an 8" round loose bottom tin.
Seperate Jelly into squares, dissolve in 5 fl oz boiling water and add lemon juice to make up to 10 fl oz. Cool until jelly is thick and nearly set.
Mix ingredients for base and press into tin.
Mix mascarpone, sugar and jelly and fold in cream.
Spread on base and refridgerate until set.
Cut pared rind into very thin strips and blanche in boiling water for 1 minute.
Rinse in cold water and dry.
Spread layer of cream onto cheesecake and use rind to decorate.
Tis very very yummy!!xxx Nikki xxx0 -

Does anyone have a baked CC recipe ?
I used to have a paper page from an old Bella or best magazine (lost it) and IIRC it was roughly 300g of cream cheese, 300g curd cheese, a pot of sour cream, 2 maybe 3 eggs and then melted chocolate. It was then on a base of half and half chocolate digestives and hobnobs.
Does this recipe ring a bell?0 -

Thanks for that BB but I don't remember this recipe having butter in it. I also vaguely remember it may of had the sugar though.
Thing is this recipe was the best ever chocolate cheesecake I have ever had.0 -
