Lloyds TSB

Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong place!
I am using the template for the Data Protection to get my statements from Lloyds TSB and want to know if I can write one letter for both my current account and my (now closed) credit card? There only seems to be one address in the Data Protection bank addresses for Lloyds and if possible, I would like to write just once for both including just 1 cheque to get all my 6 years statements.. is that possible?
Any response much appreciated!0 -
Re the £750 Good will gesture.
My husband had it put in his bank with a letter sent to say it was a full and final settlement and a good gesture.
He wrote back to say that he would accept the amount but only as part settlement and that when we won the court case he would expect the rest.
We are going to do a letter next week suggesting that they may as well pay the rest now 'as a gesture of good will' and in full and final settlement as he has closed the account.
Will then see what happens.I'm stressed enough over this - please don't add to it.:eek:0 -
Lloyds have been really good to me and after charging me £1500 in 3 months they moved my account to their collections in India. I am crap with money but over the past few months I have been doing everything I can to keep in their good books and reduce my OD. In fairness they haven't charged me for a few months if an odd dd was rejected.
Anyway I went into the bank yesterday as I needed to draw a hundred pounds to pay some bills. I reckoned I would have about £600 available for bills and food etc for the rest of the month.
Cashier said I only had £15 available which surprised me. Anyway she was helpful and found out that my overdraft had been decreased on the 22nd by £680. I told her I was paying n amount off my od each month but she said she couldn't do anything because it was with collections in India, she gave me their number.
Rang India and they said my account was no longer with collections and I have to contact the branch.
Unfortunately I know what happens next. They will not agree to increase the od and now I'm away from collections they will start charging me again. Perhaps one of the people who have never had a charge (posting on the What will happen to accounts thread) will pop over and give me some friendly advice.0 -
I found a solution to this problem which suits me!! here we go, i cancelled all my direct debits with lloyds, then i opened up an accound with RBS with no overdraft facility. This is for my salary. I told lloyds they aint getting there £750 all at once, i will pay them £1 per week, they have no said yet whether or not they will accept this. I have decided to enter into a debt management plan, which reduces my outgoings immediately. Now when it came to calculating my outgoings and incomings, i basically added what i had but also added on debts owed to family and friends(which i dont owe) but it gives me a bit more financial freedom.......i fell like i can have a life again after lloyds tsb sucked the life out of everything......so far so good anyway and im in control for once in my life0

The Best advice i can give to any of the lloyds tsb account holders is -
CHANGE BANKS!!!!!!!
Lloyds TSB are f-ing cowboys, they dont care if u have enuff money for food, clothing, a damn roof over your head, they just want ur money!!! They are very happy to let a single mother walk out of the branch after she challenges the fact that all her benefit money and wages have been lifted in a oner to pay od charges when it was agreed that it would be paid monthly.
What are people supposed to do, no food, no home, no nothing. I am now living with parents again after i was thrown out of my flat because lloyds took my rent money, my childs food money etc etc.......
forgive me for being sooooo bitter and angry but my life has been detroyed by these evil Ba@@ards......DO NOT BANK WITH THESE PEOPLE, THEY DESTROY LIVES!!!!!0 -
BUT HEY I HAD A HAPPY ENDING @ rbs0

Hi all....I've sent off my 1st letter and recieved my list of charges, and I duly replied saying I wished to claim them back etc and that I wished my case to be dealt with immediatley as a hardship case. We are currently setting up a DMP and are teetering on bankruptcy, so I feel we qualify.....
The last reply from Lloyds said that my case would be treated as normal unless their Customer Support service agreed to my case being a hardship one. I was told this Customer Support team would be in touch "within seven days" to discuss this.
This was all during the first week of March, nearly 2 months ago, and every time I try to contact them my call gets cut off as "all the agents are busy, please try later".......I feel this is way too long to wait and theyve had more than enough time to get in touch, and I'm not happ and want to whoop some Lloyds butt
!!!!!!, metaphorically speaking.....!!
Do I have any right to demand anything now, or is it ok for them to completely ignore me this way? I know many others are in the same boat as me and I don't think its fair or right and want to do something but don't know what action to take as my next step....any advice greatly appreciated0 -
might be jumping the gun a bit but in your case i think its acceptable for you to send the LBA. If they still dont respond file a court claim stating that as your case is one of financial hardship you wish any stay to be lifted. Surely if you provide details of your dmp with your court claim a judge can not grant a stay on your case? But im new to this so hopefully someone who can be of more help will be along soon.

thanks for the swift response,,,..... what is the LBA? If it gets to start some action them I'm up for it!
Thinking of writing another letter to them stating that they've not responded to me in satisfactory time and give their customer support team a deadline otherwise I'll apply through the courts, because I strongly believe our case qualifies as hardship therefore should be dealt with as per the FSA waiver......
I'm like a coiled spring at the min and just want what we all feel is justice!!0
