  • If Any One Has Got Internet Banking With Lloyds You Can Print All The Statments Of From There So It Wont Cost Anything Why Give Them More Money
  • Hi

I am new on here so bear with me. I have recently started a court claim online against Lloyds Tsb. I expected it to be stayed but when I went to look at my claim the other day it seem's I think that Lloyds TSB have made acknowledgement of the claim and admitted they owe the money and said they will pay £970. £600 originally plus £300 interest. When should I hear about getting the money, I am a bit wary of this as I know a lot of people have had theirs stayed. Could they still put in a defence, or do they have to by law now have to pay the money. I am all new to this and I did not think they were paying out at the moment. I am just wondering if I have filled something in wrong.
    Thanks

Write to the Ombudsman giving your details - the bank tried saying they couldn't find my account too...........until I wrote to the Ombudsman..........funny how they suddenly discovered everything all of a sudden!!

  • Hi

I posted on here bit did not get a reply, need you help. I am claiming online through the county court to get £970 back from lloyds tsb including interest and court costs. I went onto their website the other day and clicked on judgements and basically have put in a request for judgement and reply to admission form. Does this mean Lloyds have admitted they owe the money and more importantly does this mean they will pay up or will they still use the test case to defer payment.

    Cheers

What date did you file the claim?
  • is it right that the banks continue to charge these extortionate charges whilst there is another stay?

it does not seem right, perhaps not even legal

    any answers??

I have contacted the bank and they have agreed to extend my overdraft to cover the charges for 6 months, I then have to pay it back at £120 per month and they will then take £25 in interest, I have opened a parachute account with HSBC and now pay my wages in there, but at this rate it will tke about two years to pay off my overdraft!!!!! so much for trying to help, they are absolutely conning me and I feel that what they are doing is illegal, £20 per day is ludicrous, at least other banks were charging for each transaction, I suppose I am paying the price for all the bank charge reclaims. It maybe an idea to contact the bank though, as if you don't they will just keep charging you and then it will just keep increasing and eventually will spiral out of control. Good luck....P.S I fully intend to go after them for the charges when the court case is heard, I achieved it with the abbey and got back over £3000 and also on a credit card which was paid off with the charges.
