I don't know about that but all I can say is that Lloyds TSBars***ds would probably be the harshest on people. I will take them to court and then be rid of them. Hope someone can give you some advice!0

Will do! I says on the letter that I have to wait months, is this true??

hi all i need some help pleases as to where to go next
i have a lloyds tsb current account and havre nbeen with them for 8 years now and i now hate them they have been chargeing me crazy amounts, i have not used this account since january when my o/d was set at 750 by feb my account went o/d by 150 this was just in charges then by aug it reached 1064 purly charges this was with me making my payments like they asked me to by there collections dept, this is done on a monthly basis untill i have paid my overdraft off compleatly, then in march i reicved a letter saying that they had set a new o/d limit to 1030 without prior coraspondance by july they did it agin and put it up to 1080 again without any corraspondance.
aug i got a statement saying my o/d was at 1064.84 and thats with me paying the 10 they agreed to, so it has made no difference waht so ever me paying them anything as its not coming off my balance.#
so yesterday i got a call from lloyds tsb say that my account is o/d by 2000.73p this i dont understand as i hae not usedthe account and have been paying them 10 a month so they telling me that the 10 is not reaching them on thedate they setit at so they re set it for a different date ut is still getting to them on time i really dont know what is the matter with these people as it is there fault i am encuring more charges.
in july aug i sent the bank charges letter that i downloaded from the bbc website a long with my statements i then recived a letter from them saying that they were not able to deal with this complaint as they were in leagal procceding with the office of fair trading in relationfairnes of the charges, and that i have to wait untill the courts have made a desion as to weather all the charges milaky is able to be reclaimed or not, so im now suckin limbo and dont know where to go or what to do as im not i any position to repay this amount other than the 10 i already pay.
please help me if you can it will be much appreciated .
thank you al for listening to me.

Do as I said above...dont file through mcol..go direct to your local county court. Everybody has waited months, it could well be your claim could be stayed but at least you will be in the system and be one of the first to get paid out.0

I sent a letter off to lloyds saying that I don't agree with the charges they have made to my account. I noticed I was overdrawn and paid the money in the same day but lloyds returned my direct debit, saying that i should have had the money in my account the day before. I was only overdrawn for a matter of hours!
They have sent me a letter back saying i will have to wait until the outcome of the case but my complaint has been logged. Is there anything else that i can do

not really...under the waiver the banks involved in the test case have to log your complaint, should you have charges going back as far as 2001 then it would be wise to file your claim in your local county court so as not to be time barred, as for the matter of hours being overdrawn most banks consider whether to pay a DD or not, unfortunately for you under the new terms and conditions of lloyds saying as long as you pay money into the account by 3 oclock on the same day the charge will be waivered, this doesnt come into effect until 2nd November.0

Hi there,
Sorry if this topic has been posted repeatedly, however, its early and I can't think straight!
Earlier this year I started claiming charges back against Lloyds TSB in excess of £2000. I got so far as threatening court action (letter 2 I think) when it was announced there would be a test case. I received a letter from Lloyds stating the case was on hold until the result of the case, and I would be contacted when it had been resolved.
Because of this I haven't chased Lloyds, however, should I still be pursuing or should I wait like they've told me to?
I have no idea what I'm doing, I have my statements for Barclays also (+ £2000 also), but have not requested my cash back yet. Do I need to start doing this or wait for the results?
I'm getting worried about this as we are struggling at the moment, but on the other hand, will I get anywhere?
I'd appreciate any advice with regards to this as I am really tearing my hair out!
