Stick to your timetable and don't let them spend ages to 'look' at your complaint.0 -
hi everyone i know ive asked already but im really not sure what i should be doing the 14 days (infact it was three weeks on monday when i should of heard) to expect a reply from either lloyds or the courts has passed and i havent heard a thing does this mean that its due time to tick one of the boxes??? on MCOL its asking if :
<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=2 border=0><TBODY><TR><TD>The defendant has not filed an admission or defence to my claim
(Judgment by Default)
You will need to decide, how and when you want the defendant to pay. You can ask for the Judgment to be paid by instalment or in one payment.
or
The defendant admits that all the money is owed
(Judgment by Admission)
If the defendant has given a new address on the form of admission to which correspondence should be sent, update the defendant's details within the following Judgment request.
</TD></TR><TR><TD colSpan=2></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
i dont want to really leave it any longer incase i leave it too late and mess things up. oh and its still stating 'issued' on MCOL!
please help which one do i tick or what do i need to do next???
many thanks

I have a bank account with Lloyds TSB which I only had my child allowance paid into. I moved house last year and got married and had my child allowance paid into my joint account. I completely forgot about this other bank account and so did not cancel it. From memory I was approximately £14 overdrawn. I have now received a letter (last week) asking the bank to contact them. I obtained a balance from the account and I find i am now £194 overdrawn. I wrote to the bank asking how they could charge me such a high interestI received a letter asking me to phone the bank which I did on Monday 01.10.07 and they have told me 'it was my responsibility' I have explained it was a complete oversight on my behalf that I did not close the account. The person I spoke to was extremely rude and told me he wanted full payment by card over the phone there and then. When I said I could not pay then he said he wanted full settlement within 3 day. I told him I was about to bury my father and that I would go into the bank and arrange to pay the debt W/C 8.10.07. The following day, Tuesday 01.10.07 I received a telephone call at work asking for payment I explained again that I would go to my bank to sort it out as I felt they were extremely rude and did not want to deal with them over the phone. On Saturday 06.10.07 I again received a call from the bank again demanding payment. I lost my temper and told them not to phone me again as I was going into the bank on Monday to sort the problem out. I hung up the phone.
Are they right to charge me this amount of money, can I not pay the interest but pay my overdraft I do not know where I stand and do not really want to let the bank be totally unreasonable and get away with it.0 -
Was the person who you wrote the first cheque to a Lloyds TSB customer? If they were then Lloyds take the cheque off straight away but if they are not then it takes the longer 3 days.
If that isn't the case then afraid I haven't a clue,sorry!0 -

Hello,
Not sure i have posted this in the correct place...
Basically i need to make a very serious formal complaint regarding the way an issue is being dealt with. I have tried telephone contact, but noone ever calls me back as promised and i am now getting VERY annoyed by the way its being handled.
I need to make contact with someone serious at Lloyds TSB Group who can help. Ideally with a fax number.
Can anyone help with a name and/or fax number?
Thanks0 -
ive had a letter from court saying it has been stayed liek everyone else but i can inform the court why this case shudnt be stayed , is it worth writing or not? help plz, wat shud i put in the letter0

I now have a response letter from Lloyds after sending them a claim letter for my charges and interest on an old account.
Basically they're saying that as this was a business account the "Unfair contracts terms Act 1977 and the Unfair terms in consumer contracts Regulations' don't apply to us.
They're claiming that all their charges were fair.
Is this as far as it goes for us then? Are they right in what they're saying or are they just hoping we'll back off? Any advice as to what we should do now?
Thanks so much0
