sorry to be a pain but is that the timetable set out on this site or their 4 week timetable ? do you think it's worth offering to drop the interest charges ? lol to be honest it is scary taking on the bank even though it's the first time I've complained in 15 years.
Thanks for the advice it's nice to know that there are people out there willing to back the 'little man'
Hi Joff,
Stick to the timetable set out on the forum, the bank wouldn't let you pay charges on your timescale so why give them more time to stall you, I honestly don't think that offering to drop the interest will make any difference. The banks just want us all to go back to being compliant un-maoning customers, which they can carry on fleecing. Until I joined this forum, I wouldn't have done anything like this, and it feels good trying to get my cash back from them.
Keep fighting

Thanks for the prompt reply. I'll just copy the next letter then and send it off to them. Wish me luck.0

lloyds TSB wrote to me on 13 August 2007 stating they were prepared to repay me £355 in full and final settlement of my complaint and they would credit this to my account within 10 days. They also state that i should treat this letter as their final response.
This has still not been paid into my account now and when I contact Lloyds they do not reply to my letters, only send the computer generated letter about waiting for the pending court case.
I do feel they wrote to me offering a full and final settlement after the announcement of the court court and they should honor this.
I would love to hear peoples views and are they in the same boat.0 -
i am in the process of a claim against LLoyds TSB, they have offered me a settlement of £750 which was put into my account but I have refused to take it. It is still in my account as I am in teh process of the small claims court, of which has been put on hold with the case at teh high courts pending. My question is can I use this money in my account or am I best to just leave it in the account and forget about it until all is sorted.
Many thanks in advance, one confused lupie lady0 -

so, can someone make things clear? i bank with lloyds and have asked for a list of bank charges going back six years, but what next? do i do nothing until after the high court hearing or go ahead as usual??? still not sure?
thanx kind regards new user0 -
I wrote to Lloyds refusing the offer, this was back in May this year, as what I was claiming was far greater than the £750. It just seems to be a grey area and if you don't understand the system fully like me, its confusing.0
