You need to read Beate's post in the Reclaim Help Thread, link in my signature, which gives you the timings for using MCOL. You won't be able to "tick" any box until the due time.0

Hi there,
I wrote off my letter to Lloyds TSB to reclaim my charges and they sent me a reply.
It basically says that they are in legal proceedings with regards to the fairness of charges and so on and that as a result of this they aren't dealing with claims at the minute and if i were to press for court, they would simply delay the case..
Is this just a standard reply to which i send another stateing that i am not happy still?
If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated and if you need further details on the letter i could write it out.
Thank you for any help!0 -

Hi,
This is a standard reply, you must carry on with your claim, if you are about to issue court proceedings, carry on and get your claim into the system, the bank is just hoping that we'll all give up and go back to being non complaining compliant customers.
Don't forget that once the outcome of the "test case" is decided, IF the judgement goes in our favour this will open the floodgates for everyone to claim so if your in the system already you will get your lovely money back quicker.
Hope this helps

i have had the same response from lloyds and barclays? i have no idea what to do from here?
any ideas? my last post got moved0 -
I read (somewhere!) on here, within the last few days that someone had contacted the CEO of their bank via email and had had some success with their complaint re customer services/bank charges refund.
Was just wondering if anyone had the details for the LLoyds CEO, so I can try the same thing.
Many thanks 8-)0 -

Hi
I've had a letter from Lloyd's lawyers asking I accept a stay. Hmm, I don't think so! Do/should I write a letter to the court giving reasons why the stay should not be granted? If so, does anyone have any example text?
Also, I need to put something together (or do I?) giving the reasons I think the bank has acted incorrectly re the charges... does anyone have alist, text etc?
Thanks0 -
Thanks Edinburghlass 8-)0
