It is correct when an Allocation Questionnaire is submitted you need to pay a further £100, the total I have paid so far is £120 to MCOL and £100 to County Court. Had trial date of 29/08/07 however yesterday received a judgement from the County Court applying to have application 'stayed' until outcome of test case, I am currently applying to have the order of 'stayed' 'set aside'0

In fact the further court costs are due even if you don't have to submit a AQ if your claim is more than £1500.0

yes that is true...it actually states on the Judgement or Order that even though the allocation questionaire be dispensed with an allocation fee of £100 is payable, (usually within 14 days of that order).0

Is it too late for me?
<HR style="COLOR: #660000" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->I have been trying to reclaim £2300 from Lloyds since March this year. I have had the usual lies and stalling tactics (didn't receive letters from me etc)
I eventually gave up and wrote to FO at the end of June. I got a reply from them saying they are looking into it, but they are very busy, 2 or 3 weeks ago.
Does this mean they wil go ahead and help or will my case be suspended?
Thanks in advance!

Just recived my first reply from lloyds, the usual stuff "sorry to hear you are unhappy.... blah blah" they state that " we belive that our current account fees and charges are clear and represent afair charge for banking service that is valued by our customers, however lloyds (along with a number of other banks) has now become involved in legal proceedings with the OFT in relation to bank charges, which we belive will resolve the legal issues regarding the fair ness and legality of our charges" it goes on "for now , we can assure you that we have registered the details of your complaint- and once the legal proceedings with oft have been concluded, we will resolve your complaint as quickly as possible. if at that stage you do not agree with our responce you will of course be able to refer your case to the FO, or the courts" it goes on and on about the legal rubbish and that the FO has put all investigations on hold untill the courts have made their decision. the letter was dated 30 july. has anyone else had this as i am away a lot and miss any new news and does that mean i have to wait before i put in my court date?0

After a decent week at work, i just see two charges come out of my account with Lloyds this month.
I thought id give it a go and ring them to ask if they would cancel them. They said NOPE.
They have ignored my claim for £532, 14 days is up tomorrow. If they had refunded me them two charges i would have forgotton about the rest, but the lady just said " you do whatever you like darlin"0 -

I always made sure i sent all my correspondance to the bank by 'signed for', so i know its tracked its £4.30 for normal letter and brings you peace of mind, I know though that doesnt help you much at the moment.

Thanks for replying
I only made the mistake of not sending a letter recorded delivery once! Never again. They just lie through their teeth otherwise. Everything else has had to be signed for.0 -
I filed my claim in the courts on July 20th
My banks lawyers wrote to me AFTER the announcement of the test case offering to settle the whole of my c.£3k claim in full without prejudice to their position.
They then wrote to me again on 2/8/07 informing me of the test case and asking me to reiterate my acceptance of their offer but advised that if the test case showed that I was due more, that it was unliekly that I would be able to recieve that.
As they offered my entire claim amount, I accepted.
It would seem that little has changed. If you file a claim at court, they still wish to settle.
p.s. They did warn that if I wished the case to go to the county court, they would ask for a 'stay' until the high court case has finished.0
