Lloyds TSB have paid 750 pounds into my account as a goodwill refund. They say this in full & final settlement. I have made a claim for 1800 pounds, should I try for the whole amount or settle?
Anyone else had a refund like this from Lloyds and if so are you settling?0 -
Lloyds TSB offer me a settlement and I recieved a letter saying that my account would be credited within 10 working days. They have not paid up any advice on what to do next???0

Just about everyone is getting this standard £750 goodwill gesture from Lloyds. I would accept it as part payment without prejudice only and continue claiming for the rest.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

The banks have said they would honour all offers made, you can find it in their statement regarding the test case on their website, so chase them!Reclaimed thanks to this site:

You should check that the message you sent accepting the offer was received. If it has been then your payment should arrive as soon as your acceptance has been processed. Hi everyone,
just for the record I have just rang SCAM and they told me that LLoyds have instructed them not to make anymore settlements until after the test case.   They aslo told me that if my court case was to go ahead they would turn up at court and request it be stayed. Looks like were on a losing battle.  As anyone actually gone to court with Lloyds since this happened bacause my local court has told me that everything will co ahead as normal.0 -
What do I do now just wait for the OFT outcome? Rang Lloyds TSB and was told to basically wait to hear from them. Is this right?
In the letter it states "the FSA has agreed to this request subject to conditions that protect your rights." Any one know what this means?0 -
What state of your claim are you at? You can always file a claim to get it in the system. If you have already, don't automatically assume it will be put on hold. The bank might apply for a stay, but they are not the ones deciding it.Reclaimed thanks to this site:
