    Hey guys,

Lloyds where supposed to submit their skeletal legal arguments on friday and today i asked the judge to strike out their defence.

What happens now? Do I still need to do anything?

I can't find the tread that it was on but someone asked me a while ago how long it took between Lloyds offering me full settlement and actually getting the money. At the time i was still waiting but today the money finally came through! :j
The settlement letter was sent on the 4th July I received it on 7th July and sent it back on 10th July. So between me sending it back and me getting the money it was a day short of 2 weeks.:money:
Has anyone else had Lloyds pay up quicker than this?

My dp got his offer letter on Mon 9th July. Sent it recorded on 10 so they got it on 11th. No money in bank yet, I'm hoping it goes in tomorrow!
  • I think you can download the appropriate form on the court site so you could maybe do that, fill it it and take it with you on Wednesday.

    Edinlass,

I have downloaded the relevant form from the HMCourts site. However, i am struggling with filling in the form.

    This is my attempt,

    Part B.

Intend to apply for an order that allows an amendment to the above claim in respect of the claim amount

because an error was made by the claimant, in that all interest charged by the defendant has been included in the total monies to be reclaimed.

    Part C

I wish to rely on the following evidence in support of this application:

I respectfully request that the court allows an amendment to the amount of claim. I understand that my original particulars of the claim included the return of all interest charged by Lloyds-TSB. This, I understand to be inaccurate and wish to submit an amended amount to be reclaimed from Lloyds -TSB.
Please find attached to this application an amended schedule of the amount claimed in respect of penalty charges levied by the defendant.

I had my offer letter from SCAM which I sent back last monday, they recieved it on tuesday. So far no money, how long are people having to wait? I phoned them this morning and was told it was 2 - 3 weeks. I also asked if they'd recieved my form back to which I was told that they can't log everyones as they get so many!!!! So how do they know who's replied and who hasn't?????

    That sounds okay to me.

Going on that from above, I didn't request interest and as I am claiming over 4 grand to would significantly increase my total, can I still request to have interest included?
  • Edinlass,

Thank you for your help. You have been a star.

I shall let you all know how it goes tomorrow.

    Yours Aye.
