Yes you've made an error in claiming back the interest they have charges you, do you know exactly how much this is?
EdinLass,
This is the letter I recieved on Wednesday,
"DISTRICT JUDGE ********* has considered the statements of the case and allocation questionnaires submitted in this claim and has decided that a hearing is necessary before a final decision about allocation can be made."
Now, i have not recieved nor filled any allocation questionnaire!!
The total in the interest charged by LTSB which I am trying to reclaim is £480. will this affect my claim, (have i Blown it!!).
Advice gratefully accepted.0 -

Hi
I have posted the you have 14 days or i will take you to court letter. I posted this on the 10.07.07 and sent it by recorded delivery.
I am unsure of the date i have to proceed to court on??????
Is it 14 days from date of posting?? is it 14 working days?? or do i include the weekends??
I am really unsure because i want to get the dates sorted as i have a holiday booked and we are going away on the 10th August.
Thanks0 -
i was taking it from 14 days of posting the letter even if it was 14 working days i should of heard from them by now0

It is 14 straight days from when the bank is deemed to have received it, so if you post on a Friday you can't expect the bank to receive it until the Monday.0

Don't panic as this appears to be a Preliminary Hearing so the judge can decide if it goes to a full court hearing. However as your claim is not quite accurate as you have claiming the interest I think you should consider putting in an amendment to your claim by going to your court and following this post by Rex_Mundi.

The wording in the above case refers to amending the POC but you could reword it to say you want to change the amount of your claim. You need to do this at your local court so I would ask them at the court if you need to do this in view of the fact that your hearing is two days later or if they think you could just take your amended claim with you.
This thread is about a Preliminary Hearing...

Hi folks. I just wondered if anyone is getting the same sort of response as me from Lloyds. Sent original letter on 11th June (Recorded delivery 1st class) - lost in post. Resent on 23rd June and see that this one was signed for. I sent both these to my branch. Response from Lloyds - absolutely nothing, no acknowledgement. I tried phoning last Saturday and got recorded message "we'll get to you but don't hold your breath". Phoned again yesteday and GOT A PERSON!! Unfortunately this person could tell me nothing other than they are very busy and a response could take up to 40 working days, if I need more info I can call Customer Service Recovery on 01264 832297 or write to Charlton Place, Andover, SP10 1RE. I tried calling the Andover number - BT recorded message "temporarially out of order".
I'm just amazed at the complete lack of any response, and wonder if anyone else has had a similar experience? My real fear is that in spite of the 'proof' that it was delivered, my claim has got lost in their internal systems.0 -
just take them to court your branch (not in andover) don't mess around with them I had the same0

When you say original letter is that the letter asking for a copy of your statements - if so they have up to 40 days to send you your statements. If it's the first letter, asking for your charges back then stick to your timeframe whether they have responded or not0

yeah ive sent my first letter off telling them i want my money back they had 14 days to respond their 14 days was up on the 11th june and i havent heard a thing but i havent even bothered ringing them im just going to take them to court this week im sticking to my time frame at the end of the day even if theyd sent me a letter saying im not getting my money back its better then nothing but i havent even had that so its me that gonna call the shots!!
