I wanted to claim £1460 from Lloyds which they initially refused. I then wrote and told them I was prepared to accept an offer. Just recently they paid me £750 which I was quite happy with. So thank you MSE and thanks to my mate Sally for signing me up to the newsletter. Cheers!0

...as such I am unsure wether or not to go through the Small Claims online proceedure.
Does anyone know how long it takes the bank to pay after you win the case?
Also I have recent charges on my account, should I add these to my claim?
Any feedback most welcome,
Regards,

It depends...
You can look at it that it's £750 that you didn't have - nice and easy claim...
Or..
Spend months (and I mean months) trying to get the other £750.
My opinion - a bird in the hand.....
Although you might win the lot if you go through the court procedure...0 -
I am now filling in the form to start court proceedings against Lloyds TSB.
They owe us nearly £4000 and have just made us an offer of £860.00.
We issued our first letter to them on 15-02-07. I think we have been more than patient with them.
What I need to know is should I respond to their offer as they have stated that it is their full and final offer and that it is thier final response to us.
Should I make them aware that we are now starting court proceedings as they state in their letter that they are going to credit our account.0 -
yes send them the letter you are taking them to court and start your online court proceedings, i think its all down to trying to scare you off but if you show them your serious theyll get scared!!0

Hi all, I made a post a few weeks ago staing that I have had no questionaire from the County Court in Swansea as of yet. However, Yesterday i recieved a letter from the courts stating the my case would be heard next WEDNESDAY!!!!.
The day before i recieved a letter from SCAm stating that they wanted a detailed breakdown of all of the claim that i am making. Which i sent off to them by fax on the same day. The claim is £1200 in charges (inc the intereset that they were charging), as well as the 8% interest and MCOL fee's totalling £1900ish.
Firstly, Have i made an error in charging them for the interest that they were charging me on the charges (could be confusing), as well as the extra 8% that i have calculated on the total.
Secondly, as i have only 5 days before my hearing, what do i need to do and take with me, as i can't see this one being settled in the short time remaining.
Very, very nervous Rich now.0 -

I am trying to reclaim £3929 (going back over 6 years) for my son. When we wrote to Lloyds TSB in April sending a 4 page spreadsheet detailing the charges. In May we had our claim rejected (as I expected).
I have just lodged the complaint with the Ombudsman but I would welcome advice whether it is better to go straight to Court.
Does anyone know the success rate at the Ombudsman? What sort of timescale are we talking of?

Hiya,
Does anyone know of a contact number I can ring Lloyds on where a)someone answers the phone and b) can assist with bank charges? I have written to them 4 times following Martins format altho I did send an extra letter in the hope of an offer to avoid court and still nothing so thought I'd give them a ring and try it that way !!
Thanks, Saz0 -
do you know if there is a temp letter there is telling the court that you have had a full and final offer and you are happy to end your case. am not sure what to put in the letter and its better to be sure you have it right.
