Just a quick note to say, I recieved a letter saying they wanted me to have a review before any thing was decided and yet the following day I recieved a letter from them saying they were willing to settle out of court. Needless to say I agreed and within 3 days the money plus interest was in my account. :O)Proud to be dealing with my debts
Claimed £1657 back from lloyds.
Have paid all my debt off with bank money
(£1300 worth)
Only a £400 loan left to pay now. :j

Received offer of £750 today after weeks of waiting, ongoing since 10th April. Did request £4500. What do you advise? Scared I lose the £750. Do I take it as part refund and persue more or what?

I just hope i'm not waiting to long as it feels like a life time already here to hopefully having a good weekend0 -
accept the gesture as part payment without prejudiced and that you are going to proceed for the full amount....Once Lloyds have paid this gesture it will not be taken back, its yours..

Hey,
The reply from Lloyds with £750 seems to be their standard reply. They offered me the same and i'm claiming £2600. I turned it down and i'm in the court process at the moment. Lots of people seem to get offered £750.
I have got to hand my paperwork to the court tomorrow and then Lloyds have 2 weeks after me to hand theirs in. You stand to lose a lot if you accept as you know. I'm not sure if you've read many of the letters but alot of guys seem to be getting paid out the full amount.
I was having second thoughts but those letters helped me to continue the fight!
Good luck which ever route you choose.0 -

If so should i do the same and write to them to say i agree to the £750 as part payment and then take it to FO? Should I leave the money where it is? Could they claim this back from me at any point?? Its all v confusing!
Just ring up the FO if that is your choice if the money is already in there i don't know if they can take it back because FO advisor tells you to reject the 750 offer seeing as its already there i would guess that you send a letter accepting this part payment then let them know you will be seeking the rest either through court or FO, they did that to me only i didn't know the money was in there.0
