Hiya ScrumpyJack, the exact same thing happened to me ie: letter arrived with different corresponding dates and a final and complete offer of £750 that would appear in my account within 10 days. Not at all happy with this as I am claiming nearly £2400 I phoned the recovery centre and was one of the lucky ones that actually got through straight away, spoke to someone called Sam who told me that they were capping the offers at 750 and it would automatically go into the account - I told her that the bank were basically encouraging me to take it to court and she said " I know its mad isn`t it". I told her there was no way I was accepting that as a final settlement and she said that if it were to go to court and I was successful with my claim they would deduct the 750 from the final settlement figure. Sam checked my account while I was speaking to her and the 750 had already gone into my account 2 days before I had actually received the letter. I am in the process of setting everything up on mcol so i`d say go for it and don`t stop until you get what is rightfuly yours0

Many thanks for taking the trouble to answer.
I have faxed off a response this evening telling them that we intend to continue but giving them the opportunity to contact me directly to discuss further (ie a more sensible/legal offer!). If it goes well I will stick a copy of my letter on the forum for others to use/tweak.
Good luck0 -
i too have recieved this letter today 17 july. im claiming 1940 and tsb offered me 750 as a full and final settlement. my letter was dated 10th july. im worried the money will go into my account within the next few days. i cant get through to the phoneline, so i itend to send a fax of tomorrow refusing the offer. wot will happen if the money goes into my account? is it mine to keep or do i ask for it to be sent back? im 1206 overdrawn so i wont see any of it any way. i did want a cheque sending but have heard they wont do this0

Hi,
We are the same as u started claiming in May 07, gone thru the scary court process, letters from LLoyds solicitors,as they filed their defence claiming lawful charges, blah, blah, blah. Just got hearing date set for September and coincidentally an offer has arrived for the full amount incl court costs. We have accepted the offer however will not be cancelling proceedings until the cash is in our account.
i have had the same letters as you but can i just ask how and when you will be letting the courts know that you no longer need them0 -
when is the right time to tell the court that i have had a offer and that i will be taking it. i have not yet been paid out so do i wait till i have and do i need to put it in writing or can i just phone the court.0
