Hi Jill
Its me beckie!!! I dont have same problem as yourself but something simalar,
basically they shut off my overdraft facilty about 2 weeks after i put in my claim with them so any money i had going in got swalled up to my overdraft at least it is paid off now!!!
But the reason they will give you a cashpoint card is probaly keep going over your overdraft and not enough funds in it happend to my friend (she was gutted and loved her visa) But saying that i do it!! and have recently had a new visa so i dont know just who they pick and choose in it.
My friend and myself have both got an account with hsbc and we both havent got good credit but we both got a meastro so try them if you like your card!!
Good luck keep me posted

hiya i have been awarded judgement of £585.84.the court sent me a letter saying the defendant should pay by 6th july- so we had no payment by the following wednesday so i rang them up and told them about the judgement they said they had no paperwork to suggest this so i said i'd fax it over - so the bloke gave me a number to fax it to.off i went with my family to fax this off- the bloke in the fax place tells me this is a wrong number -(BAS£ARDS) when i get home they r closed. so thursday morning (yesterday) i rang and asked what they were playing at spoke to a bloke who then told me to fax it to him personally and he'll pass it on to the relevant department- so again off to the fax place - went through ok got home phoned him - no he hasnt got it and do u no what he fu$$ing told me to do FAX IT AGAIN.so i said no 4 copies including one from my bank manager are floating around in your office your lying and i want a payment made today.didnt get anywhere with him so rang up again in 30mins and spoke to a lady who told us if we sent her a fax she would definatly get it and take it personally to this other person.which she did- then they said they would pay us an immediate bank payment as soon as it was processed- and that it was being dealt with now (2.15pm)and to ring back at 5 if the payment isnt there- sure enough it isnt there and the women on the fone told me to ring back at 5pm tomorrow if it still isnt there- so i lost it big time im not being fobbed for another day i told them i shall be getting a warrant to send bailiffs in in the morning if it isnt there and put the phone down. in my fax i gave them 24hours to have a payment in my bank and they have not complied. how do i go about getting a warrant how much does it cost are there any exemptions? any advice ??0

I found £750 in my account yesterday, yet its not even half of what i am seeking so i have sent my form back to FOS.
I guess that i a good step if they are still willing to put the moeny in my account right.
Question what happens to the £750 in my account, do i accept but keep going or leave it to OFS to do it
in my letter they say if not happy i can go to the FOS which i have done0 -
Hi I have now got to the stage whereby I've taken Looyds TSB to court for £1435.56 + £120.00 court fees. On the same day as they received the notice from court thjey wrote to me offering £750 3 days later that amount was in my account.
I have now received an acknowledgement from the court with Lloyds defence statement.
What should I do now. Do I accept the £750 as a final payout and give up or caary on fighting till the bitter end.

Carry on with it, don't give up. Write to them telling them you accept the goodwill gesture as part payment to your claim, without prejudice and you are in the process of persuing the claim via the courts for the rest of the money owed to you
Good luck with your claim,
