Hello, I have been trying to get Lloyds TSB to refund my daughters bank charges £1040 in total including the court fee for moneyclaim. We were ready to submit the court bundle for our day in court on the 14th of August. She called today to say she has received a letter stating that they want to settle in full.

A big thank you to everyone that has given advice on this forum. And to Martin for being there for us all.

To everyone else still fighting, keep going and don't let them intimidate you.

...and my case is still ongoing since my first letter to Lloyds on 28th march. We issued a warrant to send in the bailiffs 3 weeks ago (and i'm gonna phone for an update on that next week) and in the meantime Lloyds have asked the court to set aside our judgement by default entered on 30/05. Still haven't heard from our court in respect of that one either - despite our having written to the court requesting that they strike out lloyds request to set judgement aside. Lloyds really are going to put up a fight with our claim for 3k.So we are still in limbo with no light at the end of the tunnel that we are ever gonna win our case and retrieve our money. Depressing or what.

My case has been going on since November 06!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, court case pending 3/8, but LLoyds failed to produce their bundle by the 18/6 then extension of 11/7, so supposedly we've won by default, but still nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I received a letter from Lloyds solicitors last week (sent it back recorded delivery, they received it on Wednesday 11th July) offering to settle in full :j.
Since sending the letter back i have heard nothing from them but i have received a letter from my local court asking for me to fill out a questionare by the end of the month or they will through my case out! Now ideally (as i'm really lazy) i don't want to go through all the bother of filling it all out and sending in my court bundle if Lloyds are paying up any way, but i also don't want to wait until the last minute to send it in and end up missing the deadline.
Does anyone know how long Lloyds are taking to pay up after receiving the letter back, i thought it would have been quite quick as they are putting the money straight into my Lloyds account?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Didn't take very long in our case. We sent our acceptance back on 22 May, then received a letter dated 29 May confirming receipt, and the cheque from Lloyds came dated 1 June.
    Reclaimed thanks to this site:

I receive my court date today for 8th August. Does this sound like I should be receiving an offer soon? I'm concerned that SCAM can delay things further by asking for an extension or something - can they do this or is this date now set in stone?

    Many thanks
