Unfortunately I fear not. I'm sure most sellers on here can tell you stories about return requests or SNAD claims for as odd reasons as this thread.

I cannot believe some of the stuff I have read on this thread.

OP you are clearly completely incompetent with purchasing on ebay, so please for the sake of all other ebay sellers go to a shop if you want to mess people around.

    1. You bought the phone, got a good deal, it arrived as described, it is not blocked and there is no reason to believe it would be.

    2. You have now given the seller a defect impacting their ebay account because you have decided basically you do not want the item. The item was not significantly not as described as you say, it was exactly as described.

    3. *CLAP CLAP* you live chatted ebay and they side with you. SHOCKER. Ebay know nothing except a robotic BUYER WINS memo in front of their face. Everybody selling on ebay is now fully aware of this, and people like you are exactly the reason I stopped.

You need to when you have your refund, and the seller is out of pocket, and has their account damaged, have a think about the effect you have just had on them rather than your clearly incompetent self. Well done to you.

Oh, for the record, EE do not block the phone, only the sim. As you were told here MULTIPLE times, yet you clearly from the outset clearly just wanted a refund as you changed your mind.

I am so glad to be rid of issues like this.

People avoid ebay. Or risk dealing with total morons.

If this issue was really important to you, I'm at a loss why you didn't ask before you bid??

Many people sell their new phone to fund their contract.

Please don't do this again in future as you give ebay buyers a bad name.

It seems you bought the phone and now can't get it unlocked, so you want to return it.

The phone has not been out long, so I can't see many of the iphones on eBay being bought unlocked from Apple without a contract. They are either going to be people trying to make a quick profit, people who need money or others who have had a unwanted upgrade (this situation).

You do realise you could have gone SIM only and not paid probably double the price of that nice shiny model over your 2 year contract don't you? :money:

My last phone was a new Iphone 5S off eBay that the seller sold for £300 but could have probably saved himself £600 over that 2 year contract if he'd gone SIM only.

Exactly my thoughts. What an idiot.

Sim only = 15 quid per month (at most)

Phone and Sim = 40-50 quid per month

Duhh they sub the price of the phone in the contract. You make a short term gain but over the contract length loose money.
