    You should ask ebay what their policy is.

    Maybe they will look kindly on you, or maybe you will just have to keep the phone and hope for the best.

    I have spoke to ebay and filed a case against the seller ebay said he is In the wrong for all you people who doubt me I was just posting on here for reassurance something you lot have not done lol joke so we will see how it goes I think ebay have strict policies on selling contract phones but anyway thanks for your help and if anyone else wishes to add anything then please go ahead.

    Unfortunately this is ebay, so the buyer is always right- even when he obviously isn't.

    So once again one poor seller who has done nothing wrong and is just legitimately selling off their unwanted upgrade will now be forced to refund- and get a defect for the privilege.

    Bottom line - if you don't want the risk of it being blocked, buy it new.

    Any second hand phone you buy, you run the risk of the seller making a fraudulent insurance claim on the phone.
