Got diagnosed on my wedding anniversary, the 20th and had the op on my birthday. It was what we economists call, 'bloody horrible'.

    Happy Birthday.x

My husband was diagnosed with cancer around his birthday in 2012. Bloody bad luck but he has been clear for a while now. I know someone who was diagnosed on Christmas Eve. Terrible timing.

Happy birthday Gen and happy birthday to youngest son who is 17 today!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Thanks 115K. There really isn't a good time to be diagnosed with cancer.

I have one of those faces that doesn't smile by default - I'm perfectly happy, glorious in fact, but will still have know-it-all-4rses walk by and say "Smile, it may never happen".

I get that too - my mouth turns down when I'm not actually smiling :D My DGD has inherited it, poor girl.

Belated Happy Birthday Gen! Glad you had a good day :)

And happy Birthday to Sue's Youngest :j

Maggie Thanks for the lovely pics!

Back to work for me tomorrow. Thumbs firmly down.

Is there support in place? I remember the first time I was left alone with DS1. I was scared stiff something would go wrong.
