    I've been Money Tipped!
If its not a right/fitted jacket something with a slim strap can go under a jacket . I do that with small bags sometimes. Even my big bag sometimes goes on over body and under coat. ( out of laziness rather than security concern). But I'm ok with mild discomfort/announce level.

I have a strong dislike of anything 'i' however DD1 has been given an ipod. Can I just copy paste mp3 files onto the ipod as I don't want to go anywhere near itunes on my pc?
    I think....

You need to use a converter of some description

    Thank you SC.

Next question, she is now madly using imessage(?) - is there a way to communicate to imessage users without using an 'i' product?

Yes, SMS - formally known as texting.

An imessage is an SMS message sent between i-product users using data rather than telephony.

Ok, that isn't going to work on an iPod.

WhatsApp would do it and be just as easy to use as iMessage. The downside is that the recipient need to also have WhatsApp, but a very high percentage of i-addicts have WhatsApp.

Seems a bit silly to let her have an iPod and then prevent use of all the i-products that it is designed for.

When Microsoft spent all their effort trying to screw their competitors they were the evil empire, somehow when Apple do the same they remain cute and cuddly to their fans....

With no elastic tops, how do they stay up?

    I didn't say it was elegant. :)
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
