just caught up. LiR sory to hear about the mugging. I hope it does not knock their confidence.
FiR's improving condition is great news. I have a friend visiting to day who suffrered greatly from psoriasis. When I negotiated her redunancy, it took her away from a ceo who bullied her and did his best to ruin her reputation, thee years on her skin is much improved.
my dad and my brother both had/have this' brothers
is calmer now that he is less agitated by drug use.
There may be a peace dividend for FiR in a change of job/ My friend has not had a stress free time over the last few years as she has nursed several close family through terminal cancer, but her skin has improved none the less0 -
we trained both of our previous dogs to Poo in our garden, so we could clean it up and not have them go in public space, This dog came to us as a 5year old and will not go in the garden unless he has an emergency need. His loo of choice is a holly thicket in the adjacent woods.0

There is bit of a shortage of useful left hands here.
Mine is still a work in progress, on thursday DD's loan horse was being stupid, span when she was bringing him and another in catching her fingers in the lead rope, leaving her middle finger without feeling, a bone chipped in her fourth finger and a lot of bruising.Last night Oh cut his thumb on a piece of broken glass.
DD cannot drive as she cannot hold the wheel , nor can she change horse rugs etc. Her lovely bf has really put himself out to help her and is ferrying her to/from work and to the fracture clinic.
Yesterday she and I hung out her laundry both of us using our right hand to deal with a single item. it then took the two of us to make a fruit cake and a jam sponge pudding. One was needed to lift the arm of the ktchen aid whilst the other held the lever that released the lock. She too is now wearing clothes that can be pulled on one handed and her bf is helping with her bra as needed.
going out for a walk yesterday I assisted her with a coat, then she helped me. We will be like this for a few weeks.
i had a Mothers day card and gift from her , silk socks and a voucher for a facial that I like. Her bf spent the afternoon with his mum and bought me flowers and amaretti which was unexpected and rather nice. All in all agood day0 -

I'm feeling quite dissatisfied. I'm not sure what would fix it. The things I want to do, I can't.[/QUOTE]

What is the block?
I don't know. I'd like to stay in this house and do things like retile the bathroom and make the garden a garden. I can't right now as it probably will be sold at some point. Since we got a cleaner, I can actually live in it. I also realise that this is likely to be the best location between the childrens' schools for the next few years.
Your lack of hands sounds like a delicate situation. How sweet to hear you working together to make cake. No one should be left wothout cake. A left hand and a right hand between you might also be easier than two rights.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

The thing that dogs do so much better than humans is living life right now, with enthusiasm, and without worrying about the future. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

I was referring to the obstacle to her progress, not the rectangle in the picture. It is funny how we interpret things differently.
you can get a real sense of how misunderstanding across cultures happens.0 -

Wasn't there a famous small ad:
Left arm amputee wishes to meet right arm similar with a view to sharing a pair of Gucci gloves. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
