Sorry to hear your news Viva xxWe made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Thanks everyone for your support and kind words. I should add that I am angry with cigarettes, have never been angry with the lovely woman in question. She was as damn near perfect a human as it was possible to find. Just immensely sad that this is the end result.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Smokers start smoking because they don't understand that it's impossible to give up. I have striven to get the Generalissimos to understand addiction via my former smoking.
Interesting weekend ahead. The Girl has a load of stuff to do with Mrs Generali so it's me and The Boy. It's been a while since we've had that weekend. I was thinking a bike ride then get his telescope and drive up the mountains to see the Milky Way etc.0 -
@trev - I don't know whether it helps or not but it really is effectively impossible to quit smoking. I must have quit well over 100 times. I even had a doctor tell me to start smoking again once.
@All - Don't smoke. Don't hate on smokers.0 -
I kinda object to the message that its impossible to give up smoking.
Hard yes. Very hard indeed for some. Possibly so hard that the stress outweighs the benefits in a few cases. But impossible? Many prove that wrong.0 -
Missed my delivery of vit d by a few minutes. I saw the guy leaving the road.
Yes, you reach that right. A treatment was decided, prescribed and attempted to be delivered all in one day. You can imagine why I was caught off guard. The system worked, I was the weak link today. Ooops.0 -

Sorry for you loss viva,
I really don't want to seem insentive but I do have a different opinion on smoking as in if I loved one did end up ill due to there actions I would find it had to sympathise with something self inflicted and completely avoidable. Yes it may be hard to quit but I really can't see how its hard to never try it in the first place and just not get addicted.
Luckily I can't remember, but my first experience in life would have been going cold turkey from one of the most addictive substances know to man, that mixed with many health/breathing problems going well into my teens due to passive smoking this may have cemented a rather strong anti smoking opinion.
Interestly my intention was to give my nephew some extra financial assistance if he stayed in full time education (£x in the bank every month) but he started smoking just before he started college so I am not giving him a penny as I refuse to fund him smoking, he does get grumpy when he can't afford cigarettes and I have pointed out to him he would be much better off if he quit (but never mentioned the money is missing out on).Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

You've still got a helluva lot more goes before you're even with them!Is this special vit d? We just get some from Boots. £5 for 100 tablets,plus a 3 for 2 deal.
Guessing - this way it gets delivered (fingers crossed) and is likely to be covered by an NHS pre-payment certificate.
Other guesses - can get different strengths/ formulations on prescription0
