Fir had a really good meeting with someone ( not job, just advice), who suggested fir might consider asking employers to pay him to get out sooner rather than later, take a break while he searches. the guy said fir's cv is certainly good enough to stand the break, and he complimented fir's attitude overall. Said not many people are laughing and looking relaxed at this point.
Something to think about maybe. Not something we'd considered.0 -
At the moment, they sort of fit in with foliage so green or sand, so beige. I'm sure if you pay them enough they will do one to fit in with your home decor - might block the view of the telly though.
It would be good to be able to fire one at the telly when Jeremy Clarkson comes on, if he ever does again. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I don't think it was acceptable if the rumours of what happened are the truth. Striking out because your dinner wasn't on time/available/correct is the actions of a 4 year old. Many thousands of people manage to go to work every day and find their own dinner.... and that's without his advantages of wealth and people standing around that could be used as a runner.

Well if you want it to be more than ornamental, the older versions come with a central command point that operates 3 launchers at once. You could probably get some face recognition software so that you weren't hampered by having to man them at all times. I can just imagine you and Lady GDB tucking into your lobster on toast and rapier missile whizzing past suddenly as Fern Britten appears.
I'm not sure what happened with Clarkson. If he just bopped the producer, not right. If the producer had him by the jacket lapels, then fair enough. But I don't work in a fluffy world.:o0 -

Ta.
Yes, of course. If only I had a clue which post you had in mind.
Edit.... I hope I guessed the right one?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
(2) its a very heavy science load.
Been thinking more about this. I think the "sci, ad sci, further ad sci" is going to look like "loads of the same thing" to future potential employers, whereas the same content packaged as "bio, chem, phys" just looks normal.
Am intending to ask if he can not "cash in" his science GCSE at the end of Y10 but carry the modules over to make part of phys, chem and bio GCSEs at the end of Y11.
Will let you know what happens.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

I don't know either, I was more making the point, that we don't know exactly what happened.
I had to get rid of a driver a few years back for bullying , that was a lot less physical than that. At the time of going through it all, (ended up at tribunal), it was 'interesting' to look at all sides and how the situation developed and the history. So I don't see it as standing alone, I want to know more.
I'm neutral on Clarkson - I don't see him on TV nor read anything he writes, so I don't have much of an opinion on him one way or the other.0
