Why would anyone pay that much for a watch with an 18 hour battery life?

Not an Apple fan, did find that very funny. Thanks Gen.

My first mobile phone could barely reach 8 hour before it needed recharging. The watch is a gadget, and as Michael says, we're in mushroom territory here folks! ;)

However, there is no need for the NP to attempt to explain it to me.

Because you are a decent person with consideration for others. When I employ people ( yes, it's different as drivers), but I still take personality into account, pretty much ahead of everything else.

I took Mrs Generali to see Kingsmen today. There's a film that's a lot of fun.

Did you see the rapier trailer? Three times it appeard. That meant my poor friend was poked in the arm three times with me whispering, ' We took that there'. Tragic the way I grasp onto an iota of fame.

Our first mobile phone at work was fixed, so no charging issues. It also cost £2500.00 and came with a lease agreement.

    That's so funny! :rotfl:

Thanks PN for making me laugh out loud during a stressful time :)

Sue Poor old James :( I hope having a rest will do the trick and he'll be able to return to Uni refreshed and feeling better.

I did not see the rapier trailer. TBH I don't know what that means!

Only it was in beige, it was outside and in the runway/hangar place.

Do they come in lots of different colours and sizes, then? Do the nice people have any ideas about what colour would be best for one of these? I think it might look rather smart in Navy, with some of the highlights picked out in dark red.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Ah yes. It has a cliffhanger moment in the film.

It really was lots of fun. It was a great day today.

Sue, very sorry to hear that James is having to come home early. Must be a worry for you. Wasn't there some sort of problem with him getting an appointment with his consultant around Christmastime-ish? I do hope that something can be sorted out urgently for him. Sending The Vibes. :)

Had a busy day yesterday, as had to go for breast screening. While not a bundle of laughs I did have a very nice coffee and bacon butty in the WRVS shop, and the 2 radiographers were very kind. Had the films taken sitting down for the first time. Before I managed to stand (just!) but I'm just too shaky for that now. I now have to contact GPs as not been called for smear test for ages, in fact I think it was sometime before my parents died, and that's over 7 years ago.

Gorgeous sunny day, so sat in front porch and finished reading Bring Up the Bodies for the second time. Then did some more work on pruning the quince bush. Still needs more doing, but some OH will have to do as even with loppers I don't have the strength to cut through some of the thicker twigs. Also started attacking the bushes on our boundary, but that will be a long and ongoing job as we haven't pruned them for a couple of years and they've gone a bit berserk! :o It was lovely to get out in the sun, it was so warm I was working in sleeveless sweater. What a change today!

Tomorrow have the first appointment at dentist for part 2 of teeth reconstruction. Not sure what he's doing, but its an hour appointment. Not too worried though, as he's not mean with the pain relief, which makes a huge difference. He did explain all the stuff he's going to do last time I was there, but I never seem to take it in very well. :o

At the moment, they sort of fit in with foliage so green or sand, so beige. I'm sure if you pay them enough they will do one to fit in with your home decor - might block the view of the telly though.
