Thanks for sharing that with us, lir. Here's hoping for a wonderful job for fir, very soon, with nice bosses. :)

LIR, you and fir have worked so hard at the farm, transforming it. I would hate to think of you being forced out. Hopefully, 2015 will be the year of the NPs landing on their feet, and fir will quickly find a new job.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Sounds like fir has been under a lot of stress in not the happiest work environment.
Let's hope he finds a great new job very soon. We're all rooting for him, and for lir too.

Hopefully I have given the beautiful twins enough time to mention some bad news. Politics at work has won the battle, and fir is now looking for a job against the clock. There is no point fighting it this time ( though he has ample evidence to) as his progress is as far as it can reasonably go without serious change at the top now, and there is little point starting fires if you want a job somewhere else.

I've turned our central heating off ( hurrah for spring) and looking at our food cupboards in a whole different way. We have loads of food that's delicious, I just cannot eat loads of it, lol. So, I guess I'm going to be grateful I can eat popcorn as it is inexpensive.

We are both in good spirits. On Friday night I laughed all through the night in my sleep and fir is obviously concerned about the future and finding a job, but sort of ....pleased...too. The finding a job thing seems quite daunting.

Very worse case scenario and we get forced out of here too, we buy something else with him in a shoddy job....we're together. Doesn't really seem that bad to me, ( though I accept it might not feel that fun long term). That said, we have cushion before we are in that position, and frankly, I'm looking forward to cutting back to the bone. I'm sad I'll have to give the cleaners notice :(. I resisted for so long, now I'm going to miss them!

The stress boost has been good for me biochemically. I managed to stay awake through the day since, so my hormones are firing somehow or another. Unfortunately, I'm also noticing that I'm quite hungry. Glad I put meat balls in the freezer last weekend now, they are coming out tonight, as I want meat. :)

LiR, there is a job out there for FiR which he will enjoy. It will come, you are good people. Runs of bad luck don't last forever and as you rightly point out you have each other. Riches more valuable than gold.

Lir, I am sure the worst won't happen - it rarely ever does. Fir is totally employable and I can see somewhere that he will be better suited and possibly even happy. One day at a time.

So sorry to hear that LIR, a very worrying and unsettling time for you and FIR.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Ditto.

Sometimes taking time out is worth it in the longer term.

Sorry to hear all that! I'm sure he'll be suited soonest.

If you want to go further than that, I've plenty of tips where the bone would seem positively luxurious :)

I've just done a luxuries run to Lidl and back with some fruit pastille sweeties, mini cheesecakes and frozen chips :)

    Teehee.

With my ex I lived on pennies as I had nothing liquid very often, everything tied up, then when I left him er had a nasty breakup, and he tried to take me for half my money  So I even had less liquid ( in the end I did give him some £££ just to get it over with ) Fir will find it harder if things get that tight, but I've taken him pretty tight on budget before and he's coped.:D.

I know one of his cousins is meeting him for a meal some time in April and he's somewhere soon where he'll see someone else he can ask to keep an ear to the ground for in house jobs.

The latest non law income is also on the back burner, because we cannot put cash into it ATM, which is a shame, as he would have liked that, but we can pass it to a family member in the music industry so the family of the artist is not let down.

Meh, if it happens it happens. Its not the worst tragedy in the world :D. I mean, I'll moan if it comes to it, sure, but.....you know...worse things happen every second. We watched the NImrud desecration on the news and we both find that worse than what's happening o us ( and actually probably shocking to a lot of nice people, a lot worse that a lot of what else is on the news). I'd give myself up for that not happening. :o. I don't say that a bout much on the news :o:o

Anyway, fir and I both agreed we're far more upset by that. Fir cannot stant thinking about it, but the job, is just m'eh. ;)

No, we have very, very good luck too. We just get extremes of it. :). ATM, we still don't feel like its the worst news, so maybe this indeed, is middle of the road luck. We've made some plans this morning, and while jobs of the sort he would like do seem a little thin on the ground we'll see what happens.

Shame we didn't get the coach house done first, we could have still been in a hovel but with a small rental income! :rotfl:

Hugs always welcome from nice people.

We're really ok ATM though. Fir made his first attempt at a Battenberg today

So its hardly like we are wailing messes ;).

There is obviously ' a stress', but we consider ourselves very lucky to have this as the stress. There is a little time, and a cushion. Some people cannot say the same. I know some close to us have been surprised at my refusal to push ahead quickly and get things done quickly, but there is an amount I am not comfortable having less than in relation to our mortgage debt to hand, and while we might still have concrete floors, we can pay for them for a while. The stone floors in would look better, but we'd be in a less stable position now. :D

Getting the woodburners in this month seems bloody well planned though! I'll be able to cook on the kitchen one all next winter if need be and not turn the cooker on and ditch the kettle. Glad I was over ruled about the range now:rotfl:
