They're dark chocolate digestives, not jaffa cakes!
Not in pjs, though. I sometimes do marking in bed in the morning if I'm not going to work that day, but I don't get ready for bed until I've either finished my school work or given up on it.

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Thanks. Much as I hate marking coursework and find it burdensome, I remember writing up my thesis very well, and I know that this is at least three orders of magnitude smaller than what you are trying to do. And I have a deadline. I have to have these done by the end of half term. I am seeing my dad on Friday, and tomorrow I need to sort out my desk and my finances, because I won't make time to do those in term time, and the end of the tax year is looming. Without the deadline, I would be doing nothing about the coursework, just like last week and the week before.
The quick and easy 4 criteria of section C are over. Now to begin the dreaded section D (11 criteria). I'll break it up into bits - the 4 that apply to the graph first, and then the other 7.
Thank you soooo much, nice people, for cheering me through this. I know it's a bit pathetic, but you are really helping.

Also, it's very expensive to live there. Also, having got used to a town a lot of people look to where they are for work - and that'd not be a good town to look for work as you're competing with "people that went to the proper place", so to speak.
Probably better off in the middle of the country, with cheaper rents and not having to run into all the sniffy people. Far more relaxing - and, once used to the area, looking for work wouldn't present the problems of being up against the sniffies.
I actually thought that would work better for Josh rather than a big old building but apparently not. That modern feel actually made it feel too much like his current school than a university and that has made him eek about it right away as he is not that pro the academy right now.
He also preferred the course offering at Northampton...which to be honest, is one of the most important things.
He's surprised me over the last week, he is far more traditional than I thought! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Haven't manage to get any recreational reading this half-term or even anything worthy and work-enhancing. Have managed to watch "Better Call Saul", which is briliant. Going to the dentist for root-canal which morning followed by getting me arm de-wired has been my main burst of mobility this week.
Kudos to Lydia for the marking; got to make a dent in the vats pile that awaited me on my return.:(There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Made it to 3/4 yet Lydia?
Yes thanks. 205/240=85.42%. Although 7 of those are a bit of a cheat because one student didn't do the bit that the last 7 criteria apply to, so I just had to write a comment about how the reason why the student ran out of time for analysis was because of having taken an excessive number of measurements, and that covered all 7.

DS2 had an assessment day today. This is for a Summer unpaid internship. So far he has had an application to submit, a telephone interview, an overnight trip to Edinbrough (when the assessment day was cancelled) and now an assessment day involving a 3 hour train ride in the opposite direction another overnight stay and today's assessment.
All useful experience no doubt, but seems over the top for a Summer internshipI'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
