Whereas I like to see numbers that change when I shout at the minions a bit.....:)

I shall do the shouting on Tuesday when I see them in the lesson. This is their practice, and the real coursework had better be a bit improvement on this...

Thank you. The encouragement helps. :) Have now done everybody's section A, and 5 of the 6 of section B, so am now at 136/240=56.67%. One more student's section B, and it's on to section C, which is the easy bit before the nightmare that is section D.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I would make an awful teacher.

Patience is not one of my virtues....

I can just about bite my tongue and count to ten very slowly before saying anything when training people that really, really, really want to be there and have put their heart and soul into trying to succeed....

    But teaching the average child/teenager/new-start?

    Most certainly not for me.

Yes, that's why the .83% is so important. :)
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

    DW mentioned two:

http://www.galtonflowers.com/ These used to be the local florists, but they have moved to the shopping centre, so who knows what they are like now? Bit of a risk. (And their website is not my sort of thing at all, I'm afraid.)

http://www.josephinesflorist.co.uk/ These are a standard sort of suburban florist. Pretty well known and been around for as long as I can remember. They are in N2, which is close enough. I'm sure that we have had some flowers from them.

    I doubt you'll have a problem with Josephine's.

If the funeral is on Sunday, then 99:1 odds are that it is non-orthodox. The orthodox tend to bury within 24 hours.

Yes, not orthodox. Thank you for recommendations.

    Absolutely blooming shattered!

Interview/audition at Cambridge today and we went by train. Audition went well, Josh didn't mess up and he was told he was 'solid', whatever that means but I assume it's good. Interview also appeared to go well apart from Josh not giving the interviewer the link to his YouTube or playing his compositions, or the example of his A level work, or asking any questions. She seemed pretty impressed anyway and he went in on his own despite me having permission to be there in case of difficulties (verbal understanding learning disability), his interview at Northampton last week gave him the confidence to be able to handle it on his own.

For the audition, I think he covered the two contrasting pieces that they asked for well, Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars and The Trooper by Iron Maiden!

After all of that effort, he was not that taken with the uni, Northampton is def first choice at the moment.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Well, your job would not be for me. It's a good thing we're not all the same, or we'd all be chasing the same jobs. :)
