    I've been Money Tipped!
I've never seen a haggis, veggie or not.

Supermarkets, some of them anyway, sell haggis at this time of year. :) including the vegetarian ones.

But they also sell many other foods - that I do know I like ... so I wouldn't randomly buy one. It's just a mince/meatloaf mix really, by a different name isn't it.

I defrosted/nuked two Lidl reduced sausage rolls and made some mash from a Red Rooster spud. Served that with a splash of instant gravy :)

    I had an apple.....

Better elaborate, I had only an apple because I wanted my proper roast dinner today, so that took up all the calories I am able to have daily. I'm not talking a massive roast dinner, just a normal size one but as my mobility is reduced and exercise is not possible, to lose weight, my calorie amount per day is tiny.

Think strictest, strictest diet and take a bit more off.....real pain in the bottom, feel so hard done by and restricted.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Wrong diet then, SingleSue. You shouldn't be hungry. It's not sustainable.

Oh, I'm not hungry, if I was I would be saying begger the diet and I'll stay fat. No diet will allow me to eat as a normal person and still lose weight, on top of an already sluggish metabolism, my energy expended is also not great due to my lack of mobility, so any diet would have to be strict strict to enable me to lose weight.

I'm a determined little begger, anything is sustainable if I set my mind to it. I'm making sure I am covering the main food groups, vitamins, carbs etc and in fact, I am having more of the right things than I was before, just less than the average person.

Unfortunately, it is restrictive, it was restrictive before but I did allow some little treats to keep things happier but those have had to go otherwise the weight will not. Sometimes I wish my body had not let me down and I could still dance or walk the calories off but alas, that is no longer possible.

Next time someone tells me I am fat because I stuff my face will probably get a clonk though, not been able to eat like a normal person for the last 3 or 4 years, let alone stuff my face!

    Sue, I understand.

If it helps personally I find hot drinks help me on those sorts of times. I drink more hot drinks on those days, especially things like normal tea / skimmed milk as opposed to clear drinks.

Both pre and now diet, everything is measured and written down, if I had not, my weight would have been more than it is now!

My weight has been stable the last couple of years because I have been careful (with the occasional over run of calories) but stable is not where I need to be, it needs to be lower, hence the reduction of an already very reduced diet compared to the average person.

I think I want to like haggis more than I actually like haggis. I've had McSweenie's (?) that is sold in butchers in England. I don't know why as I love kidney, liver and black pudding so it's not an anti-offal thing.

    Happy Australia Day everyone.
