I'm the opposite, bought sandwiches are difficult for me as you pay the price of 3 loaves of bread for two slices and a tiny bit of filling so I look for the most calories in the hope that at least after spending all that money I might feel full....
Then again I am probably the least active person on the NPT, eat 2.5k calories a day and barely put on weight, such is the luck of the genes / the perils of not coping with stress.I think....0 -

Well, the way I buy a sandwich in a shop is: [1] find a supermarket, they have them cheapest [2] find the ones that only cost £1 [3] of the two £1 sandwiches I'd eat, which one's got the least calories.
I probably buy a supermarket sandwich once a year during "normal life" - and 2x a year as I am (say) away from home, so not "normal life".
Poundland and the 99p store have sandwiches too, but they're not everywhere like most supermarkets are.0 -

Its coping with stress differently. We have a different response, so our bodies react differently in how we process energy to deal with ongoing stress then how we cope with stress spikes. My body thinks its on a desert island, so it tries to get maximum value from every calorie, scarily efficiently. Under stress it prepares for even more duress on the dessert island....I dunno, some kinda fish migration pattern or something, and so shuts down even more (contributes to the incredible fatigue etc) . Others whose bodies recognise we live in a land of embarrassing plenty and have never gone without and combine with different hormone profile have different reaction to stress. It might not be any better or worse.
Any way, what I am saying is, I wouldn't say its something to feel you are not coping with / failing at. Its a positive bonus at this time/ place.0 -

My client opted to rip out a big kitchen cupboard - floor to ceiling (3.6m). I put them to one side as they're far too good for the skip.
Not sure if they will fit what you want but I can take a photo of them if you would like. They'll need a courier now Mr has downsized vehicle.
Yes pleasecan you email a pic
3.6 metres might well be too tall, but I cannot measure today.

It'd probably make for a great business name/idea
I've seen a Pudding Club advertised before - where a restaurant opened once a month or so for just serving puddings. Based on that business' location, in a shack, overlooking a sandy beach, Dessert Island would have been a better name.0 -
I like offal,we can go months without eating any then have several dishes in a week. On Saturday I had a pub lunch with friends and chose HM faggots with mushy peas, mash and gravy. One night last week we had lambs liver and smoked bacon for dinner.
I continue to lose weight, another 1lb this week. I was just trying to ensure i did not gain as I am more sedentary and would not help my rehab or mood. I was 10 st 13 and am now 9st 5. bottom half dropped from 16 to 12. yesterday size 14 jeans were falling down. Not really cut anything out, nor following a regime just smaller quantities I think.
I went for 2 walks in the woods yesterday about 3/4 mile first walk and second walk a brief afternoon dog walk. On a track so uneven stoney ground which is quite a challenge still for me.I need to build up some leg muscles as they feel weak, tire easily and look thin and fleshy:eek:
Physio has just been. I can now stand with hands together behind my back. Shoulder moving Hurrah.0 -

I've checked two locations so far and it seems well populated, with Savills even using it. In my town, there are 213 properties for sale.
Interestingly only one of the local agents are using it, but there are properties in my town that other obscure agents have listed.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I had a go. Bit of a pig to use it. It loads, then as you want to click, stuff moves and you end up clicking something else. Also, when you use the filters it resets the sort order to Highest and I like it set to Lowest, so had to keep changing it.0 -
