Well, I'm still not entirely convinced about my new eyebrows. In fairness I didn't give any guidance about what I wanted as I didn't intend on wanting anything! There are some definite positives (no hint of a monobrow) though.
I think the other aspect is that they now look much/ even more 'maintained' which would require a conscious effort to keep on top of. Rather than my rather token efforts towards my appearance. I'm not sure they're very 'me'.0 -
I will admit that I do tidy my eye brows up occasionally. Get a definite monobrow otherwise“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0

Fir is like a wolf man. His beard starts really high up his face, and left alone his eye brows and strays would pretty much join his hairline in all directions and in the middle. You bet he tidies up.. That man is HAIRY.

. That man is HAIRY.
This made me laugh. I have visions of teen wolf.
Doozer is very hairy but it doesn't really extend to his face. I would love him to have a Mr Selfridge beard but his won't grow high enough. His is more of a neck beard that extends the full length of his body.
I think eyebrow people all have their own way of doing them. I've found someone who does mine really well. I don't do them enough, but when I go, I always remember why I like her. I've definitely had a couple of experiences that have left me indifferent or feeling strange.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I win on the car insurance, phoned them and said it was cheaper on the price comparison site and they beat the price so 171 for the year when the next best quote was 250
Now for buildings insurance.

lir I would love to have the Lebanese cookbook please, unless another NP has already asked for it and I haven't noticed
Re eyebrows - I've never dared have mine done, as one is higher than the other and I'd be afraid the person doing them woudl try to line them up, which I'm sure woudn't work.
Luckily I wear glasses so they're not really that noticeable0 -

Ivy leaf, its yours! Pm me the address you want it sent to and I will sort it out
The mantra of eyebrows is something like they are sisters not twins, so you don't try and match them exactly, just like our faces are not perfectly symetrical.
I have just done something I have never done before. Marie Kondo in mind I have started going through old bags. I'm not really a had bag person, but non the less I have decided to part with over half a dozen, nothing wrong with them, they just do not give me 'joy'. I've had some since I was kid, some are vintage hand me downs and someone charity shopping for selling on will have a thrill, and others are just cheapies. I've only just started.
First one I felt ok, second I felt a bit reluctant , now I want to go through everything and see if it REALLY gives me joy.
For is going through them and in one he found a receipt for drinks from our second date. He's very excited about this and had to be separated from both the receipt and the bag. :rotfl:0 -

Thank you. I will continue leaving them alone then.I will admit that I do tidy my eye brows up occasionally. Get a definite monobrow otherwise
That makes sense for people with monobrows. LNE never did anything to his until he changed to a different style of glasses at the age of about 30, and suddenly found that his tendency to monobrow was much more noticeable. Then he started plucking just enough to make sure there was a gap in the middle. He was v hairy all over, though - including his back.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

That's what I thought too - and who would have known how much more would have followed on from that second date
But I guess it's also prime hoarding material. And the important thing is the relationship, not the bits of paper associated with it. Says she who still has tickets from her hol last Oct littering her handbag0
