I had a call from a foreign call centre.

'Accident helpline here. You had an accident in the last two years.'

    'Yes,'

    'It was not your fault.'

    'That is right.'

'How many other people were in the car?'

    Me: 'Sixteen.'

For some reason, he rang off at that point.

It's okay. I needn't worry about dinner. I had a nap while waiting for the car. My husband has been and purchased about 20 ready to heat southern fried chicken portions, oven chips and frozen peas from the overpriced Co-op in town. We will eat well tonight.

I've decided I just want steamed broccoli. Fir feels this is most unimpressive a suggestion so I'm suggesting a sort of chopped up mixed veg with oyster sauce in chicory boats. This met Similar lack of enthusiasm.

I think he feels the need for something more substantial. But all we achieved today was to plant garlic. The last of the pears on the Invincible had to be picked today, so I'm also planning on poaching us a pear each for tonight and tomorrow at the same time.

I get calls from a call centre that wants me to pay to stop getting nuisance calls.

Just highlight the address bar, copy and paste.

Or if you want to be posh. Write the words you want as the link, highlight them, then click on the picture of the world above the reply box and paste the link (ie the address bar from the page you want) into the box that appears - having first highlighted the address and copied.

    Posh topper link

Goodness,I'd no idea it was that simple! :T Thank you very much, silvercar. After being on here for 9 years it was plain silly that I still didn't know how to do it :o

hjd - She deliberately avoided a memory foam topper because she felt it would be too hot. The one she chose is sort of "bouncy", polyester I think. I don't think she's finding it hot, but I'll ask her :)

Correct. Having done this now I reckon I could do a leg of lamb on the barbie in 15 mins rather than roasting it for 2 hours.

I ended up cooking it in olive oil, lemon and thyme and it was blimmin' good quite frankly.

we have a wber kettle bbq and cook leg of lamb like this through out the summer . it is easy to carve and delicious

After discussion we are having salmon.....with the broccoli. Maybe some rice. I thnk we have some wild rice still but I cannot remember. I really just want very simple fare.

Tomorrow we're having butternut and chestnuts so that's protein light too, so adding salmon in tonight does seem very sensible.
