And think how ebooks must have changed the boredom.

Or as me and my mum discovered:
    - Oysters and champagne (Gatwick)
    - Searching for a Hot Dog (JFK)

Fir went to get Indian sweets today but got there just after they closed....

But, the shop kepper saw him from the back and rush out and we open for you, you're a regular customer! So then hands found the door key and says, here, you lock up....

So fir was locking up a shop on Brick Lane tonight.

My sibling used to bring some Indian sweets home when she was in London. I never liked them.

I bought some bhajis today ... I like samosas.

In my first job I used to cycle there, about 6 miles - and there was a shop close to where I worked that had some really tasty samosas displayed in their window. On the mornings I was ahead of time I'd pull over and pop in and get one. They were huge and cheap ... and I've never quite ever had one as large/tasty ever since.

They can be achingly sweet. But they are pretty varied. The one I like best I don't know the correct name for but I call it ' the dog chew' because it looks a little like a dentachew, but a different colour. Its however deep fried. Its not as sweet as the others by a long chalk. There is a sort of fried curly wurly pastry one ( whose name I know but have forgotten tonight) which is sticky with syrup which is worth trying once. ( though lots of things are). The sort of milky, curly and fudgely ones or gulub jamin are not my favourite things at all, mainly because of the textures I think. I like lots of the flavours,.....rose, honey, cardomon...in fact they are among my favourite flavours. I just find they don't appeal much in that's package usually.

Which is why its great fir can indulge without me. Tonight he had one and a half salmon bagels and a bowl of water cress followed by a couple of Indian sweets .

Hopefully Gen's not going to be reading for a few hours now, because he's safely on the plane and everyone's comfy in premium economy.

Did you fly Virgin or BA? At JFK the Virgin terminal is beautiful with lovely shops and eateries, whereas terminal 6, the BA one, is like a shed with insufficient seating, rubbish shops and rubbish food outlets. It's without a doubt the worst airport terminal I've been to in many a year and really reflects badly on NY as a premium business destination. Hopefully it will be demolished at some point and replaced as it has no redeeming features.

Hopefully, his luggage will also catch the flight. And, anyway, he will not need that heavy winter gear when he gets to Australia.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Just the thought of a flight taking 24 hours makes me go Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhhh! Adding a day milling around at the airport would make me homicidal.

I cannot imagine that ever GDB, youa re really are far too nice to do anything but mutter under your breath.

Apart from Jersey, which doesn't count as a flight at 45 mins, I haven't flown since 1991 apart from a freebie from Renault Trucks on a plane they chartered to Lyon. Quite enjoyed that, all leather seas and bags of room.
I don't know how they compare. All comparisons for other stuff I've ever made in the past has always had Amazon more expensive than other ways of buying things. However, I buy very little.

I've had a Dyson from there that was cheaper than anywhere else, but it doesn't happen often.
