Don't do it..
You don't like it ( I don't either personally ) come up with a better suggestion and explain why. And suggest a more enduring /enticing use the money could be put to. Would she rather save for her own car? A crass car for a small part of one evening, or the start of a savings fund for her own, or fund for a week intensive driving course.0 -
I don't really have a choice LR!
Her and friends are going to the Prom, the whole of her year are. It's a question of how do they get there!!
It's not really about the cost, between 11 of them it won't work out expensive each.
It's more about choosing the correct car and firm :-/Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk

I would say "at least nobody's in Paris" as there are now TWO separate sieges underway and more dead.
... but "they" could pop up anywhere. The miracle of the Internet telling their sheep "go out and do stuff where you live".
Nutters. No time for them.0 -

IIRC, *none* of these stretch limos meet UK safety requirements.

Had xray, will find out later if I am to experience the joys of flying 12 hours with pneumonia tomorrow. Insurance are suggesting they will only cover for me to extend my trip and the others will have to travel anyway should I be unfit
Standard policy is to allow one adult to stay with you if you aren't fit to fly. In your case that would mean letting the little ones fly as unaccompanied minors (if your airline allows this). Obviously that is fraught with problems to.
OH was ill once and potentially unable to fly home, airline said DS2 could fly home alone - he was 14 at the time. Problem was that DS2 could only fly home if drugged up with valium at that age (prescription valium due to his fear of flying). Insurance said they weren't sure if they would cover him to stay with us or not. Luckily 24 hours more of antibiotics had OH in a stage where he felt he could fly.
I would make a decision based on whether you feel well enough to fly, goes above and beyond to worry about the other passengers, plenty people fly when not at full strength and potentially infectious.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
